"The Bishoftu Palace was a unique place to relax and enjoy time away from school and the city. The weekend property, located about twenty-five miles from Addis Abeba is perched on a small hill overlooking a marvelous view of a volcanic crater lake. His Majesty named this palace Fairfield as a way to commemorate the house in Bath, England, where he spent his years in exile. Fairfield Bishoftu was composed of a medium-sized white building. His Majesty’s first floor bedroom also had access to the rooftop. If my mother was visiting for the weekend, I usually shared her bedroom, which was located on the ground floor. The ground floor also housed a medium size dining room, a reception hall, two guest bedrooms, and a large patio. The patio was a favorite area for His Majesty, who enjoyed sitting outside in the lounge chair, reading his newspaper, stretching his feet, and relaxing with his dogs.

My cousins and I would accompany His Majesty when he would ride in one of the long red or sleek black 600 series Mercedez-Benz limousines, driven usually by General Lulu, a trusted and loyal staff member. On the way to Bishoftu, we would stop by at the Conolalbi bakery in the small town of Akaki where we purchased multiple sacks of freshly baked bread-rolls with a tantalizing aroma. The angatch would haul these sacks and place them by our feet in the imperial car. Our job was to help His Majesty hand out bread rolls to local children and families who waited for the emperor to pass by their houses on his way to the resort. Often, he would include a freshly minted Ethiopian birr with the small bread loaf, which he would give out to a person or family that was waiting. Despite his modern approaches, he still practiced the traditional form of communication between himself and his people."

"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” (Revelation 3, 9)

White Jews of European communities, the same of the problematic state of Israel, do not represent the original Jewish tradition of Moses, but rather his roman white falsification. Their rabbi comes from the same Pharisaic teachers that killed Christ. They historically come from a Roman occupation that scattered them throughout the Roman Empire, where they mingled in slavery with pagan peoples and were absorbed in the colonial system of the european, still being one of its fundamental economic and political powers of exploitation.

The roman historian Tacitus wrote about the Jews, and reported their origin as ethiopians. Therefore, these white Jews with western surnames cannot manifest the original jewish racial phisiognomy, nor the original spiritual and cultural tradition of Israel, what they have altered and lost in dispersion and slavery. Christ said of them:

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres" (Matthew 23, 27)

"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do." (Luke 7, 7-8)

Therefore, we should not consider that kind of "talmudic hebrew" as the true biblical form, but the western alteration of it through centuries of corruption and anti-christian polemic. Their alphabet script is not the biblical hebrew, it is late in shape and structure. Their spoken hebrew is full of clear european sounds and influence. Even their historians acknowledge it. Their biblical text (masoretic) is full of manipulations and lacks. Their conception of faith liturgy and rituals is not original, and should not be followed as a correct reference. Very eloquently, their word for "knowledge" is "daat" דַּעַת, that is a babylonian term by their own admission.

The oldest hebrew community of the world are the Bieta Israel of Ethiopia, at least 1000 years older than the european jewish communities. If we want to know the whole Judeo-Christian tradition in purity, we must check where the Ark is kept, and the Covenant is really administered, where the Jews were kings in perfect sovereignity and freedom, and in perfect continuity of faith accepted Christ as a natural development, without committing sin nor loosing or changing the original Law. Know real Israel through the sons of the Apostles, more than the sons of the pharisees, dispell many misunderstandings in names rites interpretations they have disseminated.

The first Hebrew, as member of the Holy and Elected people of God, was Adam, and Adam is an Ethiopian, like Noah, like Abraham. So, Hebrew culture is Ethiopian, and you should not check elsewhere to learn it, Rasta.

"After a light breakfast at 08:30 a.m., he would head to the Grand Palace (Talaku Ghibi) where he would preside over the Chillot (high court). Known for his promptness, he would arrive there sharply by 9:00 a.m. Most cases that appeared before him concerned legal wrangles over land ownership rights or some kind of dispute involving an international enterprise with interests in Ethiopia. The emperor was fair and just in his judgments with his own people and with foreigners. By 1:00 p.m. or so, he would be back at the Jubilee Palace to eat a light lunch. The palace kitchen consisted of Ethiopian, West European and American cuisine. A typical meal consisted of small portions of lean meat and some steamed vegetables, or smoked salmon, diced potato and beetroot salad. His Majesty observed all the religious holidays of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, throughout the year that also included fasting every Wednesday and Friday. The fasting menu items were mostly an assortment of vegetarian dishes like shiro (garbanzo beans), misir (lentils), and gomen (collard greens) and ye asat wet (blue eyed bod stew).

During non-fasting days a typical lunch would consist of ye sega tibs (tender beef stir-fry) or ye doro zil zil (spicy sautéed baby chicken), ye sega wet, or doro wet eaten with injera.

Mrs. Delia Hanson, an American from Hutchinson, Minnesota managed the Western European menu. She and her husband Herbert first came to Ethiopia as missionaries in 1933. They survived the Italian invasion nursing wounded Ethiopians. Mrs. Hanson first started as the palace housekeeper but later took over supervising the palace staff of 50, which included five palace cooks. She was also responsible for purchasing the Empress' wardrobe and introducing the family to an American menu of strawberry shortcake and angel food cake, potato salad and cold cuts. After lunch, His Majesty would take a short siesta before heading out to his next assignment."

ETHIOPIA IN THE WESTERN CULTURE - Martin Luther

Martin Luther was a German theologian, born at the end of XV century A.D. . He materialized the Renaissance spirit, in its cultural liberation from the obscurantism of Roman Catholicism, in an authentic ecclesiastical rebellion against the doctrinal and temporal authority of the Vatican: in his "95 Theses" of 1517, he rejected the now corrupt jurisdiction of the Pope - after the scandal of the sale of indulgences - and gave rise to that great movement called the "Protestant Reformation", which spread over the northern European countries, and consequently also in the Americas and the colonial territories linked to them.

In his writings, Martin Luther mentions Ethiopia more than 80 times, and exalts its supreme character in biblical history:

"Behold a miracle. In all the prophets, when the nations which are converted to Christ are specifically enumerated, only southern ones are mentioned, like Ethiopians, Arabians, and Egyptians. On the contrary, when evils are prophesied, almost always northern nations are mentioned, such as Gog, Magog, Tubal, Meshech, and Dedan. This demonstrates the difference between both groups of nations. The southerners are the ones to whom the sun draws near through faith, while the northerners are the ones from whom the sun withdraws because of unbelief. And as the sun performs this judgment in the whole world, so Christ does the same with the whole human race. Thus the reason is given why the Ethiopians are brought in before others, namely, because of the mystery. For the Ethiopians denote those who have the most ardent faith. As the sun is nearest to the Ethiopians and they have been stained blackest of all by it, so those who are most fervent in their faith in Christ are nearest to Him, and He to them. Therefore they are especially stained by Him when they acknowledge themselves to be black and humble themselves before Him, as in Song of Sol. 1:4: “I am black but beautiful.” (10:412)

"The Church is typified and called by the name of 'Ethiopia' " (LW 10: 350)

In his interpretation of the New Testament, Luther emphasizes that the Ethiopians are among the first Christians in history, that one of the Magi was Ethiopian, and that the eu**ch baptized by Philip is the first non-Israelite foreigner to be baptized. Ethiopia constituted for Luther not only a model of a Church closer to original Christianity and far from Roman corruption, but also fully free from the authority of the Pope and aware of his falsifications, and it is likely that it inspired him in his choices of reform.

We know that Luther met in 1534 an Ethiopian deacon, a certain Mikaièl, and engaged in a spiritual discussion with lively interest, recognizing the orthodoxy of the Ethiopian faith and the similar administration of the Eucharistic rite (with bread and wine, and not with a wafer), finding himself in such agreement as to officially extend to him the full ecclesial communion of his churches.
