A big thank you to everyone who tuned in yesterday for the first episode of our new Members-exclusive livestream show, The Members Room, and to our guests Bets Crockett, Matt Weston and Jason Gifford

Here’s an extract of a feature called ‘Is It In My Head?’, in which we discuss our own personal Who knowledge that we can’t find any evidence of and therefore may have invented, featuring Bets recounting a 1981 episode of Saturday Night Live that she watched in the hope that John Entwistle would be the musical guest — an episode that subsequently became notorious for the appearance of the band Fear

It costs just £3 or $3 a month to sign up to our TATW Membership, and as well as having access to bonus episodes and exclusive livestreams, you’ll also be helping us to keep the podcast going. Go to patreon.com/talkingaboutthewho to find out more

**NEW EPISODE OUT NOW**

In this Season Two opener, Mandy Moon talks about being personally affected by the recent California wildfires, becoming a grandmother for the first time, the chaos surrounding her childhood, realising that her dad was famous because of her schoolteachers, her memories of some of Keith Moon’s friends, her childhood band and learning to play drums as an adult, seeing Keith for the last time and learning of his death, her struggles with drug and alcohol dependency, how people react to finding out she’s Keith Moon’s daughter, and pulling strings to obtain One Direction tickets

Plus: Paul looks back on Who-related stuff that’s been going on since Season One ended – not only for the band, but in his personal life too – including a trip to the Cavern Club, sharing pizza with Roger Daltrey’s solo band, and the ever-confusing Zak Starkey saga

Available on all good podcast apps and via the Acast link below

There’s a video extract of the episode on our YouTube channel, and TATW Members can access a bonus episode featuring more of our conversation with Mandy (if the bonus episode doesn’t automatically appear in your podcast app of choice, make sure you use the updated Patreon RSS feed).
