TreeSpeak is a recording studio. We mostly record and mix music, but sometimes other things. We do some production and consulting too. It has an exuberant artistic spirit and a diverse music scene. We focus on taking everything that we love about being in our local media culture and incorporating that into our recording studio by developing a comfortable, creative, and versatile environment. ill find the work of local artists featured on our walls, and we'll help you find the best places in Minneapolis to get your instruments serviced, grab some food, or feed your caffeine addiction. We love supporting local talent and other local businesses.

Lots of fun over the last few months with these guys. It’s always one of those relationships that push each other to do more and be better.
Sometimes it’s being more experimental in a musical idea or better phrasing in its ex*****on, but also sometimes it’s more weird jokes from the early 90’s and better dancing during vocal takes.

Long time friends of the studio Phase Meridian just released their new song “Horsepaste” on all streaming platforms. It’s truly been a hoot and a holler putting these songs together! Any day that we get to help make “the sound of worms eating your brain,” is a pretty great time, and to be paired with the absolutely most disgusting bass tone we could ever hope to achieve was a high honor.

We focus on recording, producing, and mixing music - be it rock, punk, soul, or gypsy funk EDM. We can also help with your podcasts or small post-production projects.
