i can't believe i've never given H.D her own moment on my page , considering she is in my top 3 favorite authors!! i have read everything she's ever published (aside from where's molly, i still need to get to that one😅) & the only book of hers that i don't own (but i HAVE read) is phantom! H.D Carlton announced that they will be releasing the ebook cover in paperback , which is why i haven't bought it yet!

While i love all of her books , here are my favorites:

this series is consuming me. i devoured this book like it was my last meal on earth.
this seems to be a somewhat unpopular opinion from what i've seen of the reviews for this book , but i actually really enjoyed it. i can't for the life of me figure out why people were disappointed by it? i DEVOURED it.

honestly , Creighton surprised me . from what we got of him in God of Malice , i wasn't sure i was going to like him very much. boy was i wrong😅the quiet ones always get me. he's quiet & will seriously hurt someone for his girl , but he's so sweet to her. he would do anything for this girl , he's so down bad. MY HEART. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

ALSO , can we talk about how KINKY this book was?!? i ATE . IT . UP !!! 👀🥵

the only reason this wasn't a 5 star for me , was because the conflict towards the end of the book had me a little annoyed , however it was done well. i definitely didn't see it coming though😳. IYKYK.

these books altered my brain chemistry in a way i can't explain. these are the books i would erase my memory in a heartbeat to be able to read again for the first time. i can't explain the chokehold they have on me.
