It is such a pleasure to be part of Ironic Spin's gang of creative hooligans. Our shared vision came to life at Otherworld 2025. I spearheaded the design and build of this boombox stage. It took the melding of many minds, skills and hands to accomplish - and a fantastic audience to enjoy. We seem to be hardwired as humans to work in a team toward a shared goal and it feels great when that happens! Special thanks to Balencia, Ben Lee, Todd Carnahan, Rick Van Hassel, Durin Munro, Dave Dirk, Khan Omi, Heather Buckley, Rebecca Hof, and the Ironic Spin family.

Well, that was… pretty, pretty good!! And Hot AF.
As we all collectively decompress and find ourselves back in the default world, and try to remember where we left our dignity (check lost & found, probably still there), it's time for a massive, THANK YOU to everyone who made Ironic Spin happen.

To the creative geniuses who built, painted, welded, glued, and birthed art into existence: you turned some skeletal concepts ("wait, is this a good idea?") and dreams into reality. Your art made our location a feast for the eyes and confusion for the soul. We salute your questionable choices and impeccable ex*****on!

To the volunteers who toiled in the heat at start up and close: you are the backbone of our expressive community. Without you, our "village" would have been a pile of tarps and existential dread. Thanks for making chaos look good!

To the stage managers and everyone who wrangled cables, herded DJs, and kept the schedule (and us) from falling apart: you are gold.

To our DJs: thank you for spinning beats that made us dance, wiggle, and occasionally question our life choices. You brought the music, the energy, and the questionable remixes that we'll never forget (no matter how hard we try).

To EVERYONE who showed up, dressed up, danced up, throwed down, and showed us what community really means: you are the reason we do this. Thanks for bringing your joy, your weirdness, and your questionable fashion choices. We couldn't have done it without you (literally, we'd just be a bunch of weirdos dancing alone in front of a really cool stage).

Here's to another year of art, Ironic expressions, and perhaps some accidental enlightenment along the way. See you soon - we might even do a thing!! Follow us for more recipes.
