I was just walking on this bridge, soaking it all in—Manila was so new to me back then when I wasn’t based here yet.
Then, this moment unfolded, completely unexpected but perfectly timed.

Five hours left on the drive home, and then this happened.

That sunset was absolutely unreal, like a perfectly staged masterpiece. No time to grab my camera, but thankfully, my phone (and my amazing wife!) were ready.

What I love about photographing sports is the timing, waiting for the right moment, and telling a story.

To prove that, I shot this on manual focus, in single shooting mode, with a kit lens on a cinema line cam.

This was a shot of .lim__ during the 1st Philippine Pickleball National Championship 2025.

Sixteen years on two wheels, and for a third of that, I was a automatic scooter loyalist, convinced manual clutch motorcycles weren’t for me. “As long as you’re comfortable and get from A to B, that’s enough,” I’d tell myself.

Fast forward to 2025: thanks to my old buddy , I finally hopped on my first manual! A quick YouTube “how-to drive manual” the night before, and then straight onto these wild Manila roads.

Now, I’m part of , a group who share the same passion for riding the Yamaha XSR—a true beast for both daily commutes and epic adventures.

This photo captures my longest ride yet(13hrs with stop overs) on this beauty, and it definitely deserves a .

This kind of bike isn’t about comfort; it’s about a whole new level of adrenaline, mind-body coordination, and an incredible awareness of your surroundings. You truly become one with the machine.

Back when I was living at Legacy Gym - Boracay I got to do a series of photographs for this actor. He was preparing for a Mohammad Ali role which is why he stayed in the island for a while. I knew him from the movie King Arthur. He asked me to take his photos.

You might recognize him from movies and tv shows like Barbie, Peaky Blinders, Marvel's' Secret Invasion and the Bob Marley Movie, One Love.

It was an honor photographing Jose Venerando Vales, a 76-year-old volunteer tour guide at the home of the first Philippine President, Emilio Aguinaldo.

Emilio Aguinaldo's house, located in Kawit, Cavite, in the Philippines, is a historic site where the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spanish colonial rule was proclaimed on June 12, 1898.

Meeting Manong Jose was incredible, knowing that he witnessed significant moments with Emilio Aguinaldo when he was younger. Listening to him tell his stories was as if our history books came to life.

Now, he shares these invaluable experiences with everyone who visits, helping to keep the knowledge of our independence alive.
