भगवान विष्णु की कथा

भगवान विष्णु को सृष्टि के पालनकर्ता के रूप में जाना जाता है। वे त्रिदेवों—ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश—में से एक हैं और संसार के संतुलन को बनाए रखने के लिए समय-समय पर विभिन्न अवतार ग्रहण करते हैं।

भगवान विष्णु की उत्पत्ति

पुराणों के अनुसार, ब्रह्मांड की रचना से पहले चारों ओर अंधकार था। तभी क्षीरसागर में एक विशाल शेषनाग पर भगवान विष्णु योगनिद्रा में लीन थे। जब सृष्टि का निर्माण करने का समय आया, तब उनकी नाभि से एक कमल प्रकट हुआ, जिससे भगवान ब्रह्मा प्रकट हुए। ब्रह्मा जी को सृष्टि निर्माण का कार्य सौंपा गया, जबकि भगवान विष्णु ने सृष्टि के पालन और संरक्षण का दायित्व लिया।

भगवान विष्णु के प्रमुख अवतार

जब भी संसार में अधर्म बढ़ता है और धर्म की हानि होती है, तब भगवान विष्णु अवतार धारण कर भक्तों का कल्याण करते हैं। उनके दस प्रमुख अवतारों को दशावतार के नाम से जाना जाता है—मत्स्य, कूर्म, वराह, नरसिंह, वामन, परशुराम, राम, कृष्ण, बुद्ध और कल्कि।

1. मत्स्य अवतार – भगवान विष्णु ने मत्स्य (मछली) रूप धारण कर राजा सत्यव्रत को प्रलय से बचाया और वेदों की रक्षा की।

2. कूर्म अवतार – समुद्र मंथन के समय उन्होंने कच्छप (कछुए) का रूप धारण कर मंदराचल पर्वत को अपने पीठ पर सहारा दिया।

3. वराह अवतार – हिरण्याक्ष नामक दैत्य से पृथ्वी को बचाने के लिए उन्होंने वराह (सूअर) रूप धारण किया।

4. नरसिंह अवतार – भक्त प्रह्लाद की रक्षा के लिए वे आधे सिंह और आधे मानव के रूप में प्रकट हुए और दैत्यराज हिरण्यकशिपु का संहार किया।

5. वामन अवतार – राजा बलि से तीन पग भूमि के रूप में दान मांगकर उन्हें पाताल लोक भेजा और देवताओं का राज्य सुरक्षित किया।

6. परशुराम अवतार – अधर्मी क्षत्रियों का नाश करने के लिए भगवान विष्णु ने परशुराम रूप में जन्म लिया।

7. राम अवतार – भगवान विष्णु ने राम रूप में अवतार लेकर लंका के राजा रावण का वध किया और धर्म की स्थापना की।

8. कृष्ण अवतार – भगवान कृष्ण ने कंस, शकुनि, और दुर्योधन जैसे अधर्मियों का नाश किया और अर्जुन को गीता का उपदेश दिया।

9. बुद्ध अवतार – अहिंसा और करुणा का प्रचार करने के लिए भगवान विष्णु ने गौतम बुद्ध के रूप में जन्म लिया।

10. कल्कि अवतार – यह अवतार अभी प्रकट नहीं हुआ है, लेकिन कलियुग के अंत में भगवान विष्णु कल्कि अवतार धारण कर अधर्म का नाश करेंगे।

भगवान विष्णु की पूजा और महत्व

भगवान विष्णु की पूजा विशेष रूप से एकादशी, वैकुंठ चतुर्दशी और रामनवमी जैसे पावन पर्वों पर की जाती है। उनके प्रिय भक्तों में नारद, प्रह्लाद, ध्रुव, और भक्त अम्बरीश प्रमुख हैं। श्रीहरि विष्णु की आराधना से जीवन में सुख, शांति और समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है।

भगवान विष्णु की महिमा अनंत है, और वे अपने भक्तों की रक्षा के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहते हैं। उनकी भक्ति से मनुष्य को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।
