You'll ask, what's AlmeZZo!? ‘Al’ is the definite article in Arabic language, analogue for “the” in English. “Mezzo” means “middle” in Italian.

The combination of these two words gave the name to the label launched by Alfida, after she released over 50 recordings worldwide, including Buddha-Bar XIII, A Night at Buddha-Bar Hotel (George V Records France), Papeete Beach Lounge Vol.7 (Universal Music Italy). AlmeZZo's symbol is a little singing bird with an open heart. And it is no coincidence, since a bird is a symbol of singing. AlmeZZo is

a blending of different cultures, East and West, a mixture of styles and languages. It is a daring search of a unique sound and an absolutely new level of perception. [email protected]
