The next project has officially been unveiled!

We are thrilled to finally announce Hope Against Suffering, the full length, follow-up album to 2020's debut. Hope Against Suffering is a two-part, rock opera epic between the determined angel, Hope and the arrogant demon, Suffering as they struggle for influence. The full album releases next year in March. A single version of the title track will be available on all music streaming platforms next week!

This is one of my favorite songs I've ever written and it is an absolute blast to play! Serving as the segway between This is Between Me and God's thrash metal and Oh God What Have I Done's nu-metal sound here is the first ever guitar playthrough for Ocean of Complacency! Note: This is a hybrid between the rhythm and lead guitar parts in the song.

Welcome back to another Deep Dive into the Music!
The next song to be featured is Leaving Behind on the Forevermore EP. This was one of the last songs to be written for the EP and was more of a continuation into the back and forth vocal work we did on Virus and The Unwinding Path.
The idea for this track was to create a narrative between an adolescent/young adult mind and God about su***de. There are so many layers to the this track including simultaneous lyrics where during the chorus of the song I sing completely different lyrics than Vannah. The idea here was that she wasn't able to hear them because her character wasn't listening to the voice of God at that time. About halfway through the track there is a lengthy monologue where Vannah's character gets to an absolute breaking point where she can finally hear God's call for her life and the song shifts. The song culminates in word of encouragement for listeners about knowing how much God cares for you even when it feels like no one does.
This experimental lyrical process will be further explored in our next full-length as well. We can't wait for you to hear what we have planned! Until then check out the link below to hear Leaving Behind below on Youtube.
