As we step into 2025, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey 2024 has been for the Puck n Dragon podcast. It all started with that very first episode, raw, unpolished, and full of excitement for what lay ahead. Little did we know, this would grow into something so special.

This year brought many highs:

Getting to know the players, volunteers and supporters of this wonderful club

Hearing stories from players past and present as well as hearing from the future stars

Following the club around the country and especially the magical night in Cardiff

It hasn’t been without a low. The heartbreaking loss of our dear friend, and key member of our podcast family Pete Sheffield. His encouragement, humor, and passion for all things hockey were integral to shaping what Puck n Dragon has become. His absence leaves a void, but his memory inspires us to keep moving forward, just as he would have wanted.

We’ve learned so much this year—not just about podcasting, but about resilience, connection, and the power of shared stories. Each episode has been a reminder of why we started, to bring people together through our passion for hockey, with some laughs and bad jokes along the way

As we enter this new year, we’re filled with gratitude for every view, comment, and message you’ve shared with us.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to 2025—new adventures, fresh stories, and the ever-growing Puck n Dragon family.

In Loving Memory of Pete

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and beloved member of the family, Pete Sheffield. He brought so much joy, insight, and passion to every episode, and the void left by his loss is indescribable.

We will always cherish the laughter, wisdom, and kindness Pete shared with all of us from behind the camera. Our thoughts are with Pete’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you, Pete, for everything. You’ll forever be a part of the Puck ‘n’ Dragon story, and we will continue to honor your legacy in every episode.
