Phatabulous Magazine started in 2009. It’s 2019 and 10 years later and I am revamping. I’ve made some changes to Phatabulous Magazine because I’ve made some changes in my life. I want this publication to continue what it started and that is--to promote and celebrate the plus size woman in whatever she does. But now, I want to expand that. I want Phatabulous Magazine to be a place for the plus size woman to not just be recognized for her outer appearance but her inner appearance as well. Look for continued discussion on the plus size fashion and modeling scene but we’re going deeper. We’re going to start having conversations about our health and wellness. And not just fitness and eating right but our mental and emotional health. That means discussion on self-care, self-esteem and confidence and so much more. And I want you to be apart of this conversation. I want to have real conversations with real women that aren’t too afraid to be open and vulnerable and who aren’t afraid to ask for help. It’s going to be scary but we’ll do it together.

I hope you’ll join me,

Candace L. Smith
