Here’s a flashback Friday for you because it caught my eye. I can also keep updating you on books.

Currently Reading: Rookie Move by Riley Hart and Neve Wilder

Last Reads:

Rules of Engagement by JT Geissinger 3⭐️ This was a matchmaker and star nfl quarterback who end up together after he falls for her instead of the matches she makes for him. It was just ehhhhh.

Romance Revival by Christina Lauren 4⭐️ This was different than their usual stuff but I liked it! It’s about a scientist whose husband is ima tragic accident and all the things she does to bring him back. It’s wildly fictional but pretty entertaining.

The Revenge Agenda by Saxon James 3⭐️ I wanted more revenge agenda type behavior. Also, what Ian was doing was so implausible to have worked and so much time was spent on worrying about it that it annoyed me. Otherwise, I really liked Hunter and Rush.

Every Promise Broken by Ashley James 4⭐️ I looked forward to Conrad and Whit’s story. It was a sweet story for sure but I thought Whit was so mean to Reggie. He didn’t deserve that and I don’t like the cheating trope. I do love the fake marriage/dating trope so that redeemed it.

Beautiful Crazy by Ashley James 4⭐️ on the low side only because this was just fine. Two neighbors fall for each other and one is the teacher of the others kid. They “hide” their relationship for the shortest amount of time and end up together in the end of course. No angst in this which is good but it was also a little dry.

Last Read 1: Lost and Found by Tarah DeWitt 5⭐️ This was so excellent. My word. Bea and Silas. Merritt and Bea. These relationships, the stories, the healing, the love. Ugh. So well done here. The epilogue was so sweet, but I want more 😆. I listened to this and the narrators (Samantha brentmoor and Adam gold) were fabulous as usual.

Last Read 2: Make Me Hate You by Kandi Steiner 3⭐️ Ick. I didn’t like Jasmine or Tyler. Justice for Jacob and Azra. I really don’t like the trope in this book. There were so many better ways they could’ve handled their feelings. A rare miss by Kandi for me. Although I can say she wrote it well enough that it evoked this sentiment from me 🤷🏽‍♀️. I listened to this and the narrator was fine.

A nice chill rainy featuring the bright and stunning reforms by JAsmr Marie and the powder was so stupendous I reformed it right away.

Currently Reading: Lost and Found by Tarah DeWitt

Currently finishing my re-read of Silver Elite. Once I finish these two books I think I’ll start Broken Dove right away, but I have a few books due before that one. Hmmm.
