Happy ! Please enjoy these reforms from and jumbos from as much as I enjoyed crushing them!

Also, editors, please be respectful and mind my rules (in IG bio or in description on YT). There are too many taking work without credit or blocking creators and stealing work. I will soon simply start reporting and not sending private messages.

Last Read 1: The Summer of Lost Things by Jenn Bennett 3.5⭐️. There was quite a bit going on in this book and a portion of it felt unnecessary. The villains felt quite villainous for a small town. The search felt too easy and also “why hadn’t someone done this before?”. The mole was so obvious it was annoying. Other than those things I thought it was a decent story. I enjoyed the writing. I listened to this book and the narration was well done.

Thank you to and for the advance review copy in exchange for my honest review.

Last Read 2: My Kind of Guy by Sarina Bowen 4⭐️. This was fine but not my favorite in the series. I’m not sure we needed it? (Sorry Sarina). I would’ve stopped at the last guy on earth.

Last Read 3: Wolf.e by Paisley Hope 4⭐️. This was your typical biker romance book. Some blood, some spice, some good plot. It was a little 👀 at times, but overall pretty good read. I listened to this and Sean Masters has the perfect voice for wolf!

I loved this crush. That reform was so gritty and pretty and glittery. I look forward to getting back into my swing of creation this weekend. Enjoy this throwback Thursday!

Currently Reading: Wolf.e by Paisley Hope
Last Read 1: Legend Next Door by Jesse Reign. 4.5⭐️ I think. It was a sweet story!

Last Read 2: The Silversmith by LJ Claren 4.5⭐️ This was entertaining. While I guessed a good portion of the twists I certainly didn’t guess the why or how, which was well done. I started out pretty confused and that does take a little while to clear up but the wait was worth it. Art didn’t miraculously become great at fighting or magic, which I appreciated. And she was a thoughtful character (other than the thing she did at the end - eyeroll). I liked Gavin, but sure wish he’d explained things sooner. I still am not convinced as to why he didn’t. I thought the diversity of the characters was nicely done as well.

I listened to this book and thought the narrators did a great job but I was hoping for more Aiden Snow (Gavin) chapters.

Thank you to RBMedia and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.

Last Read 3: Promises by AE Via 3⭐️ Ehhh wasn’t so sure about this one. It was kind of interesting but also not great. Donating a kidney secretly might be one of the more odd things I’ve seen as a love declaration lol.

New post and a new bowl! Happy Tuesday!! I’ve been so busy hosting people but I should be back in my routine now.

Currently Reading: Legend Next Door

Last Read 1: Poetry on Ice by Jesse Reign 4.5⭐️. This was such a sweet enemies to lovers hockey romance (with no third act breakup, which I love). Low angst, just cuteness. Would recommend.

I’ll catch you all up on all of my other reading too. I know I owe you some reviews!

28/05/2026

I have had such a busy week or so and it won’t slow down until late next week 👀. I’ll try to get to crushing before then, but in the interim here’s a throwback Thursday that’s just under 12 mins over on YT.

Currently Reading: The Summer of Lost Things by Jenn Bennett

I have a lot of reading to catch you up on so here are a couple:

Last Read 1: The Shippers by Katherine Center 4⭐️ I will always automatically read a Katherine Center book. I liked this one much better than Hello Stranger and the Rom Commers for sure, but it wasn’t one I felt like I needed to recommend to friends (like I do the bodyguard). It was still overall a good book though!

I wish this was written as dual PoV, which I realize her books are not, but this one could’ve used it. Full review on Goodreads.

Thank you to Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for this advance review copy in exchange for my honest review.

Last Read 2: Promise me by Jami Rogers 3.5⭐️. This was an entertaining premise. I did not care for how quickly they fell for each other, but I did think they were super cute. Miscommunication trope is and always will be annoying. Why didn’t he just tell her what he’d done there at the end? And why didn’t she just take a moment to listen? I appreciated the explanation for why she was committed to th bakery because I was annoyed at first that all of a sudden she didn’t want to own it. Also, she really only had one friend in the town she lived in her whole life? At any rate, Link was funny. I hope he gets a book.

The male narrator needs to work on his “female” voice. It was a little distracting. A duet narration would’ve worked well.

Thank you to RBMedia and NetGalley for this advance review copy in exchange for my honest review.

Busy week over here. Happy Throwback Thursday! I have read more books but they won’t fit in the caption so I’ll update in my next post.

Currently Reading: Promises by AE Via

Last Read 1: Lady of Ashes by Melissa Roehrich 4⭐️.

Last Read 2: Sweet Heat by Bolu Babalola 4.5⭐️. I didn’t read the first book so all these characters were new to me and I loved them. This was such a well written book that pulled me in right away and kept me interested with humor and realness. There was some drastic improbability but it kept the plot moving. It has an HEA which is a must for me.

I listened to this book and the narrator did a great job.

Last Read 3: A Fortnight to Forever by Alycia Anderson 4⭐️.So many of these are series and I truly appreciate that this was wrapped up in one book. It was a little light on main character stories in the beginning (and stayed light on periphery character stories) and really didn’t give me much on the king, but it was overall an entertaining read with a sweet HEA.

I listened to this book and the narrators did a nice job.

Thank you to Brilliance Audio and NetGalley for this advance review copy on exchange for my honest review.

Happy ! These beauties are from . The fresh chalk was 🤌🏽 and those reforms were such a great texture.

Currently Reading: Lady of Ashes by Melissa Roehrich
Last Re-Read: The Long Game 4.5⭐️ - I can’t wait for the next book!!

I have so many new books on my TBR! Choices choices on what to read next.

A summery colored Throwback Thursday for you!

Currently Reading: A Fornite to Forever by Alycia Anderson
Currently Re-Reading: The long Game by Rachel Reid

Last Re-Read: Role Model by Rachel Reid 4⭐️. Still.

A Too Busy Tuesday oldie but goodie for you all. Enjoy!

Currently Reading: A Fortnite to Forever by Alycia Anderson
Currently Re-Reading: Role Model by Rachel Reid

Last Re-Read: Common Goal by Rachel Reid 4⭐️. This one is about a goalie nearing the end of his career meeting a younger bartender who helps him figure out his next steps…among other things lol. It’s cute and doesn’t get as much love in this series as it deserves.

11/05/2026

I don’t hate water crushes but I’m just not good at them 😆. I’ll try again! The water was pretty.

Currently Re-Reading (still but I’ve been reading other things): Common Goal

Last Read 1: Out of Her League by Ava Rani 4⭐️. This is about a surgeon and a soccer star fake dating so she (the surgeon) doesn’t appear alone after seeing her ex is engaged. It was quite cute with well written characters and plot. It manages to deal with some heavy topics in real ways. Would recommend.

Thank you and for the advanced review copy in exchange for my honest review.

Last Read 2: The Black Wife Effect by TL Martin 3⭐️ This was a fake dating/marriage trope. I liked the characters but there were some inaccuracies, plot holes, and I didn’t see enough of the “black wife effect”, which is supposed to be a glow up etc. she just had him change shoes and then she took the blame for something (I didn’t like that).
