Your internet service is absolute garbage. My husband works from home and can't even do his job because our internet service sucks so bad. We can't watch any streaming services on our TV without it stopping to buffer literally every 10 seconds. Every time we call, we are told to reset our modem. It's not our modem. IT'S EVERYONE IN OUR APARTMENT COMMUNITY. Then y'all tell us it's being worked on because the network is oversaturated, but have no idea how long it will take. So you have too many people on your internet causing it not to work. I pay $80 a month for internet that MAYBE works 25% of the time. My cell phone bill went up $50 last month because I have to use my data AT HOME. And here we are, stuck with you because you are the ONLY internet provider available. BBB and FCC have been notified. Absolute garbage.
It is bad enough that the service sucks now they are demanding payment in 2 weeks instead of a month and charging late fees taking advantage because they know people are working from home and kids are learning from home. this company sucks

I’d love to know the status of the ‘scheduled’ plant upgrades for the 35243 area. I just don’t want you guys to forget that service at our apartment complex is terrible. I would find another provider, but I guess it’s great for DIRECPATH that you get complexes to sign contracts that force tenants to use your services. Effectively you can charge what you want, and provide 2-5 Mbps with no repercussions whatsoever..

What is the status of the plant upgrades for the area servicing the Arbors at Cahaba River? The speeds here are SO slow. I range between 4.0 and 6.0 Mb/s on a normal day.
I wish more than anything are apartment complex would let us change providers.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't know how many service orders I have put in with no results. Today a tech was supposed to come out no call no show. WORST SERVICE EVER
Let me say something about DirecPath and their service. I have been a customer for fifteen months now and I have had continuous issues with either my receiver for DirecTV or my internet service. I had no choice but choose DirecPath due to my apartment complex’s agreement. I’ve had to call for service issues at least 4 to 5 times since becoming a customer and there’s still problems. Now, my internet service is out after a technician came by to work on my satellite receiver and in the process knocked out my internet service. I proceeded to call customer service and request that he come back to fix it and the earliest I can get an appointment is Tuesday the 21st. If I wasn’t in school and needed internet access, I could probably make do, but I’m in the middle of my doctorate and I have to have access to do my work and I shouldn’t have to go stay at a hotel to do this. I tried to escalate my call, but the supervisor is always too busy and I’m still waiting for that call back. This is a horrible situation and I’m still paying for it. I wish they had U.S. based customer service support, but it looks like it was farmed our to India. So DirecPath, it’s time someone stepped up and tried to help me. I just want to be treated fairly.
I am hoping that this message finds someone with some true decision making authority who will genuinely try and do something. I have complained on your page before but I do not want people to know how unpleasant my experience has been with DIRECPATH for the past two years I have lived in this apartment complex more so I would simply like for my issue to be fixed in a timely manner. I have been complaining about the 775 error code that have popped on my TV since August. Finally someone came and fixed the issue last month only for it to appear again now. I have called so much about this issue that I have the routine memorized now in that when I call customer service I know the script and the rundown; 1) they ask how may they help me 2) they then tell me how sorry they are 3) they ask for my address, telephone number, and email address for verification and repeat my email address back to me military style 4) they tell me that the next available appointment is a week to a week and a half out in which I have to rearrange my whole day because the appointment can be anywhere from 12-6; really who has the time to wait around 6 hours?? 5) after hearing how frustrated I am that I have had to deal with this same issue for 3 and a half months they tell me that they will send my case to “escalation “ in which a technician manager will see if they can get someone out sooner which (shockingly) they never do. 6) Finally they ask me to take a brief customer survey which I never do because in my opinion if DIRECPATH truly cared about customer service I would not have to repeatedly wait anywhere from a week to 2 weeks to resolve an issue. I’m a simple man who enjoys watching rivalry games over the holidays with my son and now that is ruined because of shoddy service and the inability, or maybe worse, the indifference of DIRECPATH to address it. I am hoping this issue can be resolved timely but I am not holding my breath...I’ve been given very few reasons to have faith in this company
This company is the LITERAL worst.
If you are thinking about moving in an apartment complex where DIRECTV leases out their service through DirectPath please be prepared to have awful service. When my wife and I buy our home we are going with anyone other than DIRECTV because of the awful service. I have complained over a month about my receiver constantly going out and they have done nothing because they rely on DirectPath to service me who only comes out twice a week and when they do they botch the appointment times that they set. I’m sure DIRECTV doesn’t care about one customer so I’m sure that they won’t mind me going back to Spectrum when we move. I may try Dish, anything but this nightmare
Internet in Birmingham, AL is very slow. I'm reading 3Mbps up and down on a 60Mbps subscription. My wife says her calls have cut in and out for a few days now. I've restarted all of our equipment. Please help!!!
