Season Greetings!

My Analogue Journal, invited me to play some tunes.. so I dug put some 7s for your delight!

A few years back at a family function my mother ordered me to get the 7’s from Under The Stairs and play them. The party continued to the early hours of the morning with the revellers revisiting music from their youth. In this mix I wanted to bring that same essence playing something old, new, borrowed and blue from a selection of my favourite 7s. Big sounds in 3 and half minutes - wonders of fun.

Woop woop! We are back in Leeds with a stellar lineup at Wharf Chambers on Friday 27th October. Happy to welcome NTS founder and regular to put her touch on our party, alongside local hitters and resident making up the full lineup.

🌙 🌙 MARSHMELLO 🌙🌙

For the last 10 years, MarshMeLLo has been one of the founding and most regular hosts on NTS Radio.

She has been on the cusp of club culture from the Rare Groove movement of the early 90s, to Jungle evolving into Drum and Bass, Garage to Broken Beat, leading to today’s Neo Soul and New Jazz wave. She has often identified unique and genre-defining talent, bringing artists such as Koreless, FKA Twigs, Hiatus Kaiyote and Jessie Ware into the hut. Recent projects have seen her become one of the founding members of the trio behind Moonlighting - alongside Zakia and Leanne Wright.

She has played at some of our favourite parties - including Eglo Records and Secretsundaze - and we
cannot wait to have her for this party.

Kasia is an upcoming producer/ DJ based in Leeds, and has provided the soundtrack at local venues across Leeds such as Headrow House and Eiger Music Studios.

Kasia has also appeared at other events across the city, including Leeds 2023 Year of Culture. Influenced by the acid jazz, broken beat and soulful house movements, we are super excited for her to bring her energy and the percussive sounds of broken beat and more to Wharf Chambers.

A trusty resident of Lift Your Feet, Prawn Posture will be providing her usual eclectic touch to this month's party through her
extensive knowledge of music.
