Made a quilt of fallen leaves and framed it with downed branches
Lead came construction with wire overlay. No saw, but a metric s**t ton of grinding, and plenty of blood, sweat, and swears.

The Princess Bride Lead Came circle
I'm sure it's called something where text reads the same while upside-down as right side up, but I don't know that word (rotational ambigram, as it turns out, neat!).

I saw this fan-made(?) poster a while ago and thought it would be a cool window. Using lead instead of foil for the letters especially was a funstrating challenge.

I have an old spaghetti pile of unidentified lead came that I was able to use...I think it's RH8 or similar? Border is some sort of thick C-profile lead came.

Circle is 24" wide. Pete for scale.

Thanks for looking!

i want to make a pizza hut lamp. where do i even begin?
photo for reference! i have never done 3D stained glass, im not even very good at 2D glass yet lol, but i’ve been itching for some kind of long winded insane project that i can work on here and there for awhile. i’ve also always wanted one of those stained glass pizza hut light fixtures, so ive decided to give it a go! i know i could get some patterns and try 3D stuff before doing this, but im gonna be so honest i just don’t see that happening. im okay with it sucking, that will just make it even more my own :)

BUT i did want to get advice first, so my main questions are:

how would i go about making a pattern for this? i was thinking i could make the general shape out of cardboard/foam or something and then use cardstock to cover it and draw the pattern?

once i figure out the pattern, how do i solder it? i’ve seen videos of people making lampshades and they use the equivalent of sticky tack (im sure it’s a more specific thing) to stick the glass onto a mold? can i use the same cardboard/foam creation?

what kind of hardware would i need to get to hang it like it is in the photo?

also to be clear im just trying to display this in my house, not sell them. i’m not sure if there’s copyright stuff or anything but that won’t apply to this.

anyway, any advice would be helpful! or any good youtube videos to watch before jumping in. i’m willing to research i just have so many other projects on the backlog right now lol

Fence
Second fence peice, this time I used offcuts from the first ashtray I made for the smoking area last year (it got stolen after a couple of months). I also included pictures of how I attached them to the fence for anyone wondering✨️

Alaskan Trip Christmas Presents
My family and I went to Alaska this summer and had an amazing time. For Christmas gifts this year I made picture books with the photos we took and these little whale “ornaments” for everyone, but hopefully they leave them up somewhere all year!
