Grito Productions Grito Productions is a documentary film production company. Pam has done groundbreaking media production work with teenagers in NYC for 20 years.

Grito Productions make films that combine personal narratives with archival material to explore historical, political, and cultural themes. Our films put the lives and histories of everyday people in the foreground and provide entryways for the audience to understand the diversity of human experience. Pam Sporn founded Grito Productions in 2000 as she was completing the film Cuban Roots/Bronx Sto

ries. Other Grito Productions films are Recordando el Mamoncillo, With a Stroke of the Chaveta, and Disobeying Orders: GI Resistance to the Vietnam War. Her students at Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom HS produce FannieLouTV, an online news program.
