Las Piñas Police Arrests Rank 1 and Rank 10 Most Wanted in One-Day Operation
Operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section successfully arrested two individuals listed among the February 2025 Top 10 Most Wanted Persons of the Las Piñas City Police Station.
Alias “Frendo,” a 32-year-old male painter, is ranked as the Top 1 Most Wanted Person (Station Level) and Top 2 Most Wanted Person (District Level). He is wanted for Statutory R**e (13 counts) and R**e by Sexual Assault (2 counts), under Criminal Case Nos. 25-0081 to 25-0095. His warrant was issued by Hon. Judge Mildred Jacinto Marquez of Family Court, Branch 2, Las Piñas City, on January 13, 2025, with no bail recommended.
He was arrested at Brgy. Elias Aldana, Las Piñas City, at approximately 11:00 AM on February 2, 2025. Case records indicate that the accused repeatedly sexually abused his 13-year-old niece and threatened her with serious consequences if she informed her parents.
On the same day at around 10:00 AM, Alias “Marcelo,” a 30-year-old male, listed as the Top 10 Most Wanted Person, was arrested at Brgy. Pamplona Uno, Las Piñas City. He has an outstanding warrant for Slight Physical Injuries under Criminal Case No. 84153, issued by Hon. Judge Teodoro S. Carbonera of Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 121, Las Piñas City, on January 13, 2025. The warrant was issued for service of sentence, with no bail recommended.
Both suspects are currently undergoing procedural booking and will be turned over to the proper authorities for legal proceedings.
PCOL Sandro Jay DC Tafalla, Chief of Police of the Las Piñas City Police Station, spearheaded the operation under the guidance of PBGEN Manuel J Abrugena, District Director of SPD, and under the direct supervision of PBGEN Anthony A Aberin, Acting Regional Director of NCRPO.
Meanwhile, PBGen Manuel J. Abrugena, commended the operatives for their successful arrests. He lauded their dedication and teamwork, emphasizing that capturing these fugitives is a major step in combating crime. He also highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration in maintaining public safety.
