Parking charges at four Wells car parks could change from December, as Somerset Council tries to turn several inherited systems into one county-wide arrangement. Simple in theory, naturally.

Princes Road, South Street, Tucker Street and Union Street are included. The proposals have not yet been approved and will go before the council’s Executive later this month.
