Imagine you’re the servant…
You’re told to fill jars with water, no context, no explanation. Just a simple instruction. You obey. And then, before your eyes, the water turns to wine.

There are times when God’s instructions may not make sense immediately. But often, it’s in those quiet steps of obedience that miracles begin. Trust Him, even when it’s unclear. Obey, even when it’s simple. He’s working on something far beyond what you can see.

Your FAMILY is your first MINISTRY. ✨️

Don’t Lose Your Home While Building His House

There is a kind of busyness that looks holy,
but slowly hollows out the soul.

Ministry can make you feel important, needed, called, and used by God.
But what if, in serving the church, you're quietly losing your first congregation?

You prepare setlists, lead rehearsals, join meetings, fix cables, and craft transitions.
You give your heart to Sundays, but your family only gets the leftover hours, when your tired, distracted, and distant.

You pray for revival in the sanctuary, but have you forgotten to kneel beside your child’s bed?
You teach people to worship, but when was the last time you talked to your spouse?

God never asked you to neglect one altar to build another.
He never called you to set the church ablaze while your home grows cold.

Ministry should never be an escape from responsibility.
Your spouse is not your assistant.
Your children are not burdens to manage between services.
They are your first sheep. Your most sacred trust.
The first worshippers you are called to disciple.

Before you hold the mic, hold your family’s hands.
Before you lead worship, lead your home in prayer.
Before you minister to the crowd, minister to the ones waiting for you at the door.

Jesus did not die for you to build a platform—
He died so your whole household could be saved.

If you gain the applause of the church, but lose the hearts of your children,
you did not win in ministry. You lost your calling.

So go home after service.
Be present. Be soft. Be available.
Laugh around the table. Listen to their hearts.
Love them with the same passion you bring to the pulpit.

Because your family is not in the way of your ministry.

They are the ministry.

The Spirit of Gehazi will:

• Serve beside the anointed
• Obey in public, scheme in private
• Justify compromise as strategy
• Use ministry as a marketplace
• Lie and still think they’re loyal

This spirit is subtle. And deadly.

The character of Elisha showed:
• A love for truth more than reward
• A refusal to monetize miracles
• Deep discernment of timing
• Total trust in God’s provision
• Loyalty to the mission, not self

That’s what incorruptibility looks like.

5 signs you’re operating in Gehazi’s spirit:
1. You crave rewards more than results.
2. You use position to get access.
3. You justify deception for a “greater good.”
4. You want the fruit without the formation.
5. You lie to cover what your heart is chasing.

Repentance isn’t optional—it’s urgent.

If you’re serving in ministry, remember:
• Power doesn’t equal purity
• Reward isn’t always right
• Access doesn’t mean approval
• Leadership is no substitute for integrity

Your private hunger always leaks into your public life.

Here’s what people forget:
Gehazi didn’t fall in one day.

He drifted—bit by bit:
• Greedy thoughts unchecked
• Entitlement unchallenged
• Accountability avoided
• Truth twisted
• Correction ignored

That’s how leprosy starts—internally.

Want to finish well? Then remember this:
• The best reward is God’s trust.
• The greatest failure is hidden corruption.
• The worst success is one that costs your soul.
• The highest calling is to be clean before God.
• The wisest leaders say “no” when others say “why not?”

Don’t admire Elisha’s miracles if you can’t imitate his restraint.

• He healed without needing pay.
• He served without needing praise.
• He gave without asking in return.

Real anointing doesn’t chase attention—it chases obedience.

Gehazi’s path teaches one lesson clearly:
What you chase can change your destiny.

• He chased gold—and gained disgrace.
• He chased garments—and wore shame.
• He chased reward—and lost his future.

Chase integrity instead.

Don’t think God didn’t see Gehazi’s run.

• He saw the lie.
• He saw the manipulation.
• He saw the greedy heart.

Ministry may fool men. But God’s eyes go deeper.

Here’s what no one tells young leaders:
You don’t need to accept every gift.
You don’t need to chase every opportunity.
You don’t need to take what isn’t assigned to you.

The fastest way to lose your future is to fight for something that isn’t yours.

Serve Without Comparing — Your Reward Comes From God.

Ministry can be a beautiful thing—but sometimes, comparison sneaks in like a thief in the night.

“Why am I doing more?”
“Why are they just standing there?”
“Does anyone even notice what I’m doing?”

But when we let comparison sit in our hearts, it begins to turn service into bitterness, and joy into judgment. Suddenly, we’re not looking at the Savior—we’re looking sideways.

Here’s a gentle reminder:
Don’t let someone else’s role make you question the value of yours.

In our service to God, let’s not fix our eyes on what others are doing—but ask ourselves, “What more can I do for the Lord?”
You may not see it, but if your heart is right with God, you’ll understand: everyone has a part. Everyone is doing what they can to serve.

So let’s stop counting how much we’ve done and start celebrating how much more we can give—together.

Every part of service matters. Whether it’s loud and seen or quiet and hidden, whether you’re holding a mic or holding a mop, God sees it all.

Galatians 6:4 says, “Let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.”

You don’t need to measure your ministry against anyone else’s. The only One you’re called to please is Jesus—and He’s not comparing. He’s looking at your heart.

Let’s serve without keeping score.
Let’s rejoice in every hand that helps, no matter the task.
Let’s focus on faithfulness, not fairness.

Because in the end, the reward isn’t handed out by people—it’s given by God.

– Not I, but Christ –

What a Day of rejoicing that would be. ❤️

“When We All Get to Heaven” was written by Eliza Edmunds Hewitt in the late 1800s. A dedicated Christian schoolteacher in Philadelphia, Eliza loved working with children and teaching them about the joy of following Christ.

But her career was cut short when a spinal injury left her bedridden for an extended period. The pain and isolation could have silenced her spirit—but instead, they deepened her faith.

While confined to her bed, Eliza began writing poems and hymns as a way to express her hope in Christ. One of her most beloved compositions came during this time:

“When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be…”

This hymn wasn’t born from comfort, but from a soul that longed for the joy of heaven in the midst of earthly suffering. Today, it continues to remind believers that no matter our trials, eternal joy awaits.
