Just before I knew someone forgave me
Little did know him and he saved me
A rugged cross he carried
My saviour my friend
He was beaten and wounded
But great of all no bone in him cracked
Oh a bad sinner like me to be free
And for that the joy of God has got me
Because of him I live
My saviour my friend
For God loved the world
His son he gave for me that believeth
That I perish not and have an everlasting life
He did accept to come
My saviour my friend..
So I believe
So I embrace him
I praise him
I follow him
My saviour my friend...
