Reminder ya nafsi,

It's hurt a lot, realizing that we're so eager to be successful in this dunya but, we forget our final destination. Kaya natin e sacrifice yung mga tulog natin sa gabi just to accomplish our academic task, we can skip our meal para lang sa acads, we can sacrifice everything for our acads to be successful in this dunya but we cannot skip acads for attending seminars, reading qur'an, qiyamul layl and we can even skip our Salah. We forget that this dunya is temporary, not final destination but akhira is our final, we are eager to be successful but we forget our Salah. We forget that real success is to be in jannah.

“Wallahi, it's horrible to imagine how a man can cause distress to a woman, particularly when he has a sister. How can he reconcile with the fact that his sister, whom he should protect and cherish, might one day experience the same distress he inflicted on another woman? It's a call to consciousness for everyone, kifarah, ittaqillah!”

Let's remember to treat all women with the same respect and care we would want for our sisters, daughters, and mother.
