Max Burger is coming to Avon!

The popular burger restaurant will open their 2nd CT location in the old Max a Mia space after a total renovation.

Max a Mia is moving to the old Bertucci’s space in the Avon Marketplace plaza.

They hope to have Max Burger OPEN by the end of this year or January of 2026!

We are hearing DORO Marketplace is coming to Avon.

They will go into the building at 300 Main Street…the former New England Pasta Co. space (they have moved to another location).

This building has been influx for quite sometime (the sushi restaurant pulled out) so we could not be more excited about this!

Fun Max Indoor Adventure Park is finally under construction at 500 Bushy Hill Rd, Simsbury, CT 06070.
Fun Max will be a 35,000 square foot trampoline park with Trampolines, Rock wall, Ninja Course, Foam pit, Zip line, Basketball Court, Playground, Dodge Ball, and Arcade.

🚨SCOOP ALERT🚨

FARMINGTON: Crown Equities LLC has filed an architectural master plan with the town for the development, called Enclave at the Farmington River.
The project, estimated to cost $225 million, would be located on two properties that span a combined 63.5 acres at 3 Bridgewater Road and 1179 Farmington AvE.
The proposal scheduled for discussion at Monday's Zoning Commission meeting.
The Hartford Business Journal is reporting that the Enclave at the Farmington River would offer a direct connection to the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail. Other proposed amenities include boat docks and slips, riverview gazebos, fishing from the shoreline, resident kayak and canoe storage, and picnic areas with grills.
The meeting is this Monday, June 22nd at 7pm.

The Friends Learning Center is moving to 44 West Main Street Avon this summer.
They have been operating at 395 West Avon Road for the past three years. The Learning Center is for children aged 3 to 5.

Small classes with 4-5 children per class for individualized attention/tutoring to help with literacy skills – each class is for a two-hour time period.
