One of the biggest scams on Facebook right now is hackers who request access to your page under the guise of blue check mark verifications. Don't fall for it! Granting admin access to these accounts will result in a nightmare and you may lose access to your page. Facebook will never send you an admin request.

Today's video experiment is an interesting one. I've included the entire recipe in the video instead of giving a link. Why? Well, Facebook seems to be moving towards a watch time based algorithm. If users read through all of the text they will spend longer on the content, increasing watch time. When a user clicks on a link they terminate their watch time by visiting your website. Now, my website is where I see the monetization of my videos, so I'm giving up money to run this experiment, but I think it will be well worth it. I've included the link to the printable recipe in the comment section since I'm not ready to give it all up. But it will be interesting to see how this experiment plays out.

I've had several people message me screen shots like this over the past 24 hours. They come up as messages to your personal account or your business page. THESE ARE NOT REAL. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS. These are phishing scams and they are trying to gain access to hack your account. They are getting pretty good at what they do. Set up two step verification on your account and always investigate emails and messages like this. Familiarize yourself with what a real message from Facebook looks like.

THIS is the power of longer content. A 3 1/2 minute video. Look at the saves on it compared to the shares. When someone saves a post Facebook will remind them about the content until they go back and watch it. Saves are associated with much higher click throughs. The view count may not be noteworthy, but the saves are.
