AIPAC-funded Republicans (and a few AIPAC-Dems) rushed to praise Trump’s strikes on Iran this weekend. Other Democrats objected to being left out of the loop. But too few are asking why we’re fighting Netanyahu’s war at all.
Let’s be clear: Netanyahu launched the first strikes on Iran with U.S. weapons, intel, and Trump’s quiet approval. Republicans—and Democrats like Fetterman—cheered him on.
Now, Iran threatens to close the Strait of Hormuz—which carries 20% of global oil—and is already firing back, striking U.S. bases just like they did after Trump killed Soleimani. He’s marching us straight toward war. Why are any Democrats helping him?
This is the game Trump’s playing—whether duped by Netanyahu or lashing out like a toddler in a tantrum, it’s AIPAC’s decades of setting the agenda, buying elections and enforcing their one ironclad rule: Total allegiance to Israel, with no conditions, ever.
There are important steps we can take right now to rebalance the scales. GOP Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna introduced a bipartisan War Powers Resolution to block Trump’s unauthorized war with Iran.
Co-sponsors of the resolution tripled overnight—but we must keep up the pressure. Every member of Congress will soon have to vote and show the world where they stand: with the American people or with the same neocons who lied us into Iraq.
The real fight is breaking AIPAC’s grip—and when Democrats step up, we need to have their backs.

We're building pressure campaigns in key districts and making sure voters know who's cashing AIPAC checks while civilians are being killed.
Trump’s insane and reckless conduct this weekend has pushed us to the very precipice of another disastrous war. This time, with the threat of nuclear armament.
It can and must be stopped.
