A brutal, challenging listen from start to finish. The Spooky S**t trio’s proclivity for hard, abrasive electronic textures and arrangements coupled with Elvin Brandhi’s train of thought lyrics, wandering melodies and spectral manipulation make for an enthralling journey. Throwing aside almost all musical conventions in the sake of freedom of synthetic expression, Not In Da Club is club music deconstructed beyond recognition.”
