𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱— San Pablo Christian School Inc. held an English and Tagalog essay-making competition for the celebration of Nutrition Month. The event's theme was "Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority: Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin." This competition provided students with a platform to express their thoughts and deepen their understanding of community welfare. Through such initiatives, the school aims to foster a collective effort towards a future where food scarcity is eliminated and the right to adequate food is universally upheld.

The school encourages everyone to collaborate in making food security a top priority for all.

𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓- In celebration of Nutrition Month, San Pablo Christian School Inc. recently hosted a cook fest to showcase the culinary skills of its junior high school students. The event began with opening remarks from Ms. Lorena B. Valderama and a prayer led by Mateo Maghirang.

The goal of the activity was to encourage healthy eating habits, highlight the importance of local ingredients, and promote the inclusion of vegetables in one's diet. Students from each grade level prepared innovative dishes, including a Chopsuey from Grade 7, an Eggplant Sisig from Grade 8, a Squash Pansit from Grade 9, and a Bicol-inspired Gising Gising from Grade 10.

A panel of judges—Mr. Ruel R. Baylon, Mrs. Danica Caponpon, and Ms. Crizelda B. Endozo—critiqued the dishes. Before announcing the results, they praised the students for their creativity and innovation.

The judges then declared the Grade 10 students as the winners of the contest.

The objective of the tryouts was to select 15 players to represent the school, a decision guided by the expertise of Coaches Mr. Adrian Ortiguerra and Ms. Danica Caponpon.

Coach Adrian Ortiguerra began the tryout by explaining the essential qualities they are looking for the players and his overall vision for the team. He emphasized two key qualifications:

"There are only two qualifications that we are looking for the players. The first one would be someone who is good in terms of academics as we are looking for the players who can do both academics and sports. The second is someone who has good attitude and manners as we are looking for the players who are not only good in games but with good discipline in order for us to build a good team”.

The tryout started with a set of physical drills, including endurance training, stamina exercises, and footwork drills. All participants engaged in the initial game segment. Senior High played in the second game, Junior High in the third, and they continued to alternate.

Following the evaluations, Coach Adrian Ortiguerra announced Mr. Mike Raniel Ticzon as the team's captain. Mr. Ticzon will serve as a role model for his teammates.

In response to his selection, Mr. Ticzon stated,

"Nakakagulat akala ko kaibigan ko ang mapipili sa pagiging Captain Ball. Grateful at ako ang napili at paninindigan ko yung posisyon ko as Captain Ball.
