San Pablo Christian School Inc. (SPCS) concludes Leadership Training Program on November 17, 2025 at the Boyings resort in Sto. Angel, held by the SSG coordinators Sir Adrian Ortiguerra, Ma'am Loren Valderama, and Ma'am Rose Marie Hernandez and our teacher-in-charge Sir bonnie Ramos Ilag. This program aimed to teach young leaders the fundamentals of being a true leader.
True leadership begins when one moves beyond personal interests and focuses on the well-being of others. It requires the courage to step outside oneโs own comfort zone and to see leadership as a responsibility, not a privilege.
Sir Christian Angelo Castillo, our resource speaker, taught the young leaders of SPCS what a true leader should be, teaching traits of a selfless leader, that is led by having emphathy with those around them, being true to the service they are responsible with, humility, having a humble and kind approach towards others, and accountability, taking responsibility with one's decisions, actions, and the outcomes of their leadership.
Leadership thrives on connectionโthis was soon shown with the activities prepared by the coordinators, leaving students to overcome the obstacles they are faced with, demonstrating amazing teamwork, good coordination, and good leadership.
In essence, leadership is not about standing above others, it is about lifting them up. It is the art of listening, connecting, and serving with a heart that sees beyond self. This program showed what students can be capable, and that true leaders are created with enough hardwork and discipline.
