In most parts of Nigeria, cassava stems are free of charge.

You don't need to pay anyone to get it.

Whether harvested or still standing you are free to cut as many as you like (as long as you cut it responsibly) and plant in your own farm.

One long stem can give you as many as 6 to 10 pieces to plant.

This means you don't necessarily need money to plant cassava.

And the land?

That bush in front of your compound can serve.

Don't overthink these things.

Just start, with what you have.
