Brace yourselves for a fuzz-fueled cosmic rampage, Italian heavy fuzzers Godzilla Was Too Drunk To Destroy Tokyo have just released their brand-new single and official video “Sasquatch’s Eyes”, offering a mind-melting preview of their forthcoming album Sideral Voivod, set for release September 19, 2025 via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. Available on CD, limited edition colored vinyl and digital formats, the album promises a kaleidoscopic collision of stoner grooves, acid-drenched riffs and chaotic sci-fi storytelling.

“Sasquatch’s Eyes” is a wild, groove-heavy trip into the band’s trademark blend of 60s acid rock textures, monolithic fuzz and offbeat rhythmic breakdowns. Laced with hypnotic hooks and otherworldly swagger, the track embodies the raw, untamed energy that has made Godzilla Was Too Drunk To Destroy Tokyo one of the most unique acts in the European underground scene.

Formed in 2022 in the small Ligurian village of Calice Ligure, the band is fronted by Sara de Luca (bass destroyer and sonic instigator known as The Evil Lord), alongside Nicola Viola (the octopus-armed drum wizard) and Alessandro “Camu” Camurati (riff-crafting guitar builder). The trio has already taken their high-voltage live assault across Europe and Japan, leaving a wake of crushed stages and blown minds.

Following the buzz around their 2023 releases Atomic Spitfire and Evil Lord, Sideral Voivod pushes their sound even further into interstellar chaos, a hallucinatory ride through doom, psych, sludge and space rock. “’Rescue Me’ was the first song we wrote in person after being penpals for four years,” explains guitarist Myrone. “For me it was this crazy feeling of anticipation as we had been working so hard to get into the same room and we finally did it, almost like a "dog catches car" moment. After we finished setting up Chris looked at me and was like "well what do you got?" and that opening riff is the first thing that fell out of me.”

German Classic Rock band Fargo Band releases new single

German Hard Rock band FARGO releases with "Frontpager Lover (live)" their new single and visualizer out of their upcoming live album "Live In '25" today.

Founder and bass player Peter Knorn: “It was a different era when our album ”Frontpage Lover”; was released in 1981. Our record company was desperate to give us a new image: Our band logo was ignored and given a ‘plain font’ to make us more mainstream. While at the same time, and against our will, it was also decided to put a half-naked lady on the cover being hit on her ass by some bloke with a rolled-up newspaper. We were deeply embarrassed. But our music spoke a language all of its own; reason enough for Germany's biggest TV station (ZDF) to present the cover song on their music programme “Rock Pop”. This gave “Frontpage Lover” a massive push and a completely unique dynamic.”

German Atmospheric Black Metal Band Schreigarm Releases New Single and Official Music Video

Schreigarm was born in the frosty February twilight of 2020 in the German city of Neuss. It is a project of two experienced Ukrainian musicians, Styrr and Ingvarr. Schreigarm debuted with their first album, The Mysteries of Fate (2023), which was released under the label Werewolf Promotion. The album was highly praised for its atmospheric depth and unique approach to the genre. This release became the foundation for the band’s further development and laid a solid groundwork for a new chapter in their creative path.

New Hampshire Stoner Sludgers Lizzy Sign to Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records for Upcoming Album

Sludge-drenched spiritualism and cosmic heaviness converge in the next chapter from New Hampshire’s stoner-doom force LIZZY, which inked a deal with Italian powerhouse Argonauta Records and its (un)parallel label Octopus Rising.
Get ready for a hypnotic descent into drone-soaked doom and transcendent sonic rituals.

Formed in 2017 by Andrew Szmauz and Taylor Paradis, and recently joined by Alex Vance (Laquerhead) on bass, LIZZY has evolved from a stripped-down duo into a monolithic trio, melding earth-shaking sludge, stoner-doom grooves and a spiritual sensibility rooted in both ritualistic minimalism and global musical traditions.

Drawing influence from Sleep, OM, High on Fire and Black Sabbath, while channeling baroque, flamenco, North Indian and Middle Eastern textures, LIZZY is anything but conventional. The result is a trance-inducing, low-end-heavy assault where drone meets distortion and spiritual exploration collides with sonic destruction.

Poland-Based Blackened Death Metal Band Orbstruct Announce Third Full-Length Album; First Single Out Now

Poland-based blackened death metal band ORBSTRUCT set October 3rd as the international release date for their highly anticipated third full-length album, Ostracism, which will be released via Paragon Records in all physical formats.

"Ostracism was meant to be a manifesto of our solitude, which we wanted to offer as a gift and the best chance for each person to truly know themselves. But as we dove deeper into our own minds, we came across images we weren't ready for. Under pressure from outside forces we couldn't control, we couldn't see a way back from this nightmare, so we were forced to fight our way out through paths that completely shattered how we saw reality and ourselves. ORBSTRUCT is the adept of the darkest side of Death. Paying great attention to the grim and oppressive atmosphere of their music, the band manages to give their compositions an unusual for death metal coldness and disturbing emotions that are constantly intertwined with bursts of aggression and fury, leaving an indelible impression on the listeners. Originally, the band was formed in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and over the years has become one of the most recognizable death metal bands in their home country.

Orbstruct is also well-known beyond their homeland. The band’s first two albums, Phobos Rising and Deimos Falling, were successfully released on physical media simultaneously by two labels: Paragon Records in the USA and Envenomed Music in the EU. Both albums were warmly received by critics and collectors in many countries.

With the onset of the war in Ukraine, the band did not cease its activities and began actively performing charity concerts to raise funds in support of war victims. Despite the ongoing conflict, the band also managed to record their third full-length album. As the fighting intensified, the band members decided to relocate to Europe to continue their work.

The unrelenting force of diabolical black death metal, BELPHEGOR, return with a blazing new single: ‘Sanctus Diaboli Confidimus.’ Forged in chaos and crowned in blasphemy, the track marks a savage invocation of what is yet to come.

This release marks BELPHEGOR’s first under their freshly inked deal with Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), setting the stage for a powerful alliance between one of extreme metal’s most revered entities and one of the scene’s most ambitious new labels.

Helmuth, the band’s co-founder and guiding force, shares: “It’s great to be working with Gerardo Martinez once again. He believed in BELPHEGOR early on and was the one who brought us to North America in 2006. I look forward to a powerful new chapter with RPM.”

A conceptual hell of heresy. No prophets. No gods. No masters.

The band was formed in 2001, in Dnipro, Ukraine. To date, the band has seven releases and several European tours. In 2017, the band transformed into an international studio project of two musicians. The eighth release, the full-length album Stygian Conclave, will be released on September 19, 2025 and is a continuation of the EP Eternal Reign, which was released in May of this year.
