Loods & Gerd Janson, the second release on our Studio Sessions imprint — A transcontinental meeting of minds, methods, and Volvos. What started as a remix request became a studio session and, eventually, a four-track affair of acid-tinged house, Italo accents, trance echoes, and techno pulse.

In Love Again captures the shared DNA of Loods and Gerd Janson, bright, melodic, and built for the beach club (Massimo Vitali’s cover makes it official). Four flavours of the same spirit, each mix a nod to a time when 12-inches told a whole story.

For best results: play loud, add sea breeze.

In Love Again (Vocal Mix) is out today on all platforms with the EP to follow on December 5th, preorder a copy of the vinyl on our Bandcamp.

Out today—finally, after some vinyl manufacturing delays! A special one: Mr. G returns to Running Back with his Reconnection EP, a deep dive into his vaults that captures everything we love about his sound. Distinctive, driving, and soulful, Mr. G bridges the space between hypno house and roots techno—uniting dance floors through his High Mass–like live sets or via DJs spinning his timeless records.

City Heat (G’s Underground Dub) leads the charge: raw, funky, and utterly irresistible. Serendipity and Work complete the picture—decades of record buying, music making, and pure love for the culture distilled into three tracks. Made yesterday, released today, and certain to sound great tomorrow. A personal gift from Mr. G’s archive to Running Back.

Out today, Acid Sampler Part 2.

The saga of squelch continues. After the first round proved that the acid line might be the most durable cliché in dance music (and still the best one), part two turns the resonance k**b a little further.

Steve Bug & Stefan Braatz, Deetron, Todd Osborn, and Mathew Jonson with The Mole join forces for another ode to the silver box — less museum piece, more perpetual motion machine. Proof that you can’t retire a sound that never had a desk job.

Once again, Gasius supplies the visual psychedelia, while the tracks handle the auditory side of the trip.

Dial 303, accept the charges, and remember: the only thing more reliable than acid is its ability to surprise you.

A1. Steve Bug & Stefan Braatz - Simplicity
A2. Deetron - Acid Choir
B1. Todd Osborn - Rain
B2. Mathew Jonson & The Mole - Acid Swing

Available on all digital platforms today with a slight delay on the vinyl, preorder a copy on Bandcamp.

KiNK’s return to Running Back arrives as four slices of KiNK logic and mischief: A1. Comin, A2. Pump Version A, B1. Pump Version B, and B2. Pump Version C.

Strahil Velchev has never been one to sit still — not on stage, not in the studio, and certainly not on Versions. Here, KiNK turns his own material inside out, upside down, and somehow still lands on his feet, grinning.

Version A is out today and the EP to follow on November 21st, grab a copy of the vinyl on Bandcamp.

What once slipped out under a veil of anonymity now steps into the light: the original mystery record was, in fact, Tuff City Kids. The duo’s playful fingerprints are all over it—equal parts homage and mischief. Fast forward to today, and the circle closes with an EP that reimagines the spirit of that covert release, pushing it into sharper, modern focus. Where the first outing thrived on secrecy, this one thrives on revelation—same DNA, but recut for the present tense.

The single R-Zoner is out today and the EP/Vinyl to follow on October 28th, grab a copy of the vinyl on Bandcamp.

Running Back Mastermix: Deetron

What began as a nostalgic nod to Camden Market’s bootleg culture has become the next
chapter of in the Running Back Mastermix series. At once deeply personal and openly
communal, it shows how a lifetime of production can be condensed into 90 minutes without
losing its edge — proof that the mixtape, even in 2025, still has stories left to tell.
What followed was a patient excavation. Old DATs were pulled out of storage, forgotten
files surfaced from hard drives, and new material was written to sit alongside them.

Together, these fragments revealed a body of work stretching back more than 25 years —
tracks that moved across the spectrum of house and techno but shared a common thread
of character and atmosphere.

In May of this year, the archive finally found its form. Recorded live on three decks using
Serato, the resulting mix brings together 24 tracks: unreleased material from the past and
brand new productions, all stitched together into a continuous narrative. It’s equal parts
retrospective and statement of intent — less a museum piece than a living document.

Released on Cassette, Double-LP, and digital formats October 24th

The single Robotland is available today on all platforms, and preorder on Bandcamp and receive Broadway 727 in advance.

Out today, Feater - Obsolescence 🗻🌳

Welcome to Pfefferkorn: a countryside studio hidden inside a former 1950s café. The stylish interior stayed, the cake display is gone, but the mountain panorama is still very much in place. Out of this unlikely combination came Obsolescence, Feater’s new album and a record that wasn’t supposed to happen, but insisted on doing so anyway.
Originally, Pfefferkorn hosted a merry-go-round of guests and genres: jazz, kraut, pop, experiments, even the occasional field recording. Among the many, Mara Oldofredi aka Mietze Conte became the most frequent and inspiring visitor. Their sessions set sparks, and one of them, “Trio,” landed directly on the album.

The method? Call it instant archaeology: live jams on two-track tape, then pushed through edits, resampling, Fairlight IIX sorcery, and endless tape-laptop relays. Quick, raw, and without too much overthinking, more sketch than sculpture, more instinct than intent.

The result is Obsolescence, a record born out of detours, made for personal delight, and proof that side products can be main courses if you let them.

The special one! Mr. G’s productions are distinctive, deep, driving and, above all, a listen to behold. Like the man–machine interface between hypno house and roots techno, he manages to unite dance floors either through his High Mass–like live sets full of swing, grit and soul, or simply through other DJs playing his records. Blessing Running Back for the second time, Mr. G’s Reconnection EP is the result of a serious dive into his vaults.

City Heat (G’s Underground Dub) is a picture-perfect example of his skill to groove without a doubt: raw, funky and fabulous. Serendipity and Work on the flip side complete this picture. Decades of record buying, music making and a love supreme for this culture rolled into one. Made yesterday, released today, and it will still sound great tomorrow. A personal gift from Mr. G’s archive to Running Back.

The single “Work” is out today and the EP/vinyl is out on October 10th.

Preorder a copy of the vinyl on Bandcamp.
