I don’t do many solo podcast episodes—and while I won’t say this topic was “laid on my heart,” I do think it’s something important to talk about.

Let’s chat about having realistic expectations of your wedding vendors.

Social media often makes it look like everything in the wedding world is all butterflies and rainbows—but that’s not always the reality.

In Part 1, I’m sharing two experiences from my time doing full-service planning where my couples weren’t completely happy with my work. I’ll walk through why they felt that way and offer some perspective from my side.

I think a lot of vendors will relate—because for most of us, a 4-star review feels like a zero. We’re wired to chase that 5-star experience every single time. That’s what drives us to go above and beyond.

In Part 2 I will share some feedback from vendors on current challenges they are facing when it comes to expectations that can help you navigate the wedding planning process!
