First aired as a sound piece on Radio Alhara, Letters to the Sun is now being released as a physical and digital album.

This compilation emerged from a place beyond language. A sound sanctuary built from words, sounds, breaths, instruments, and pauses - confronting the chasm of silence forced upon the rubble of Gaza, where each bomb is an affront to our humanity, and each whataboutism a dilution of horror. Here, we create space to feel and to share the within, from within, and for one another.

Music by , , , & , , , .shehade, .wmusic, , , & . Words by , a poet in Gaza writing throughout the genocide.

All proceeds go to ‘Revive Gaza’s Farmland’, a project by the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature. The initiative works to rehabilitate devastated agricultural land and rebuild local food systems in Gaza. In a place where over 95% of farmland has been systematically destroyed - and where food is weaponised to subjugate and displace - the act of farming becomes an act of resistance.
The double LP is limited to 300pc.
