Community Equitability Operation #3 (CEO3)
CEO3 is a milsim event in Pattaya, featuring three factions: military, mercenaries, and civilians. Each side had their own objectives to complete.
I was on the merc side for this event, in a “squad” with Feline, Taco, Vista, and a few others—which definitely made the experience way more fun. I ran an LMT AEG I borrowed (lol).
The AO (Area of Operations) was really something. It was an abandoned hotel project made up of tall buildings, and the gunfights felt like they were ripped straight out of a Tarkov raid. But abandoned buildings come with risks—I nearly fell down the stairs more than once, and people were playing out on sketchy balconies. The rules were super open. Players could blind fire, climb buildings, whatever. It was chaotic, but honestly, pretty fun.

My Thoughts:
*Note*
These are just my personal opinions and experiences. Others may feel differently, and that’s totally valid. I’m not trying to drag the organizers—just sharing some honest thoughts on what I felt worked and what didn’t.
Events like this are always straight-up firefests. People just shoot the s**t out of each other, and yeah—it’s fun. objectives existed to drag the factions into conflict zones.
Uniform rules need to be taken seriously. Too many times I couldn’t PID who was who because some fu**er on the military team was wearing all black. That’s just dumb. Armbands made with duct tape or checking uniform should be required. It’s basic stuff.
Spawn points kinda sucks. This isn’t new either—same issue in previous events. No clear spawn area, no clear announcement. I had to go hunt down a staff member just to figure it out. All they needed to do was slap a piece of paper on a door that said “Merc Spawn.” Problem solved.
The random pause mid-game ruined the vibe. The event was advertised as non-stop, but out of nowhere, staff called a game-off—in the middle of a firefight. I had to literally yell at the other team to stop shooting because apparently the game was paused. No one knew what was going on. Then they reset everyone into one building and told us to just “duke it out.” That part was just not fun. If they stuck to the original plan, things would’ve gone a lot smoother.
Safe zone safety? Straight-up dangerous. There was actual crossfire hitting near the safe zone where people were sitting without eye pro. At one point, we were moving toward a building, ran in front of the safe zone, and got shot at—while standing next to people just chilling with no eye protection. That needs to be fixed.
⸻
Some Positives:
I don’t want it to sound like the whole event was bad— because it wasn’t it was very enjoyable
The AO was amazing. Multiple connected buildings made for some of the best CQB I’ve played. Room clearing was intense, and you had to stay sharp. Tons of open rooms meant ambushes were around every corner. That kind of gameplay is hard to find, and it definitely made the whole thing worth it.
⸻
One Last Serious Note:
Safe zone safety is a serious problem. My family comes with me to events and sits in the safe zone. I don’t want my mother to get her eye shot out by some di****ad. Maybe I’m used to playing at stricter fields—but I’d rather be safe than sorry. That kind of risk is unacceptable.
⸻
Conclusions:
The event was fun standard get in there and kill the other team type of event with a great AO but have some problems that I believe If fixed could turn this into a great event for the community.
Very grateful for the organizers for creating such fun event hope they keep getting better and better.
much love.
