Hey friends... Thanks for bearing with us as we work hard to keep KAVZ on the air. Due to the upcoming renovation of the Van Zandt Hall which is the home to KAVZ, we are in the middle of relocating the antenna and transmitter and all of the equipment that goes with it into temporary quarters. At the same time we swapped out our old computer for a neat, mini computer but all of the change takes some time to get it right. Our Internet connection at the Radio Shack (I call the KAVZ Klubhouse) is still not quite up but we will have it going soon, I'm sure. Until then KAVZ is still streaming. We've had some hickups due to a new computer and some new Internet connection but hang in there. Thanks from the KAVZ Team.

We are setting up for a fun night of music, dancing and sweet treats at Love Shack Boogie with High Tide. Shake off those winter blahs with dancing to your favorite tunes.

Saturday night is the Love Shack Boogie at the Van Zandt Hall. It'll be a fun time for all ages. I'll bring lots of cupcakes and I'll also bring the funk as I'm playing bass with my fun bandmates in High Tide. Lots of classic, danceable stuff from the Eagles, The Stones, classic slow-danceables etc. Bring Everybody!

KAVZ is starting our "Foothills Spotlight" short info spot this month. It's something we've been planning to add and it's time to just get it done! At least monthly we will produce a new one. Listen in at 102.5 FM or stream at KAVZ.org.
