Zoviet France's entry in the upcoming Lumberton Trading Company 6 x LP subscription series will be a double-LP called 'EditQuartet', which is something of a 'lost' album from the late '90s with music originally commissioned for a production of the same name by acclaimed contemporary dance group (Nye) Carte Blanche, from Norway. The album was supposed to follow 1996's 'Digilogue', on Soleilmoon Recordings, but got sidelined like so many of these things. Very happy about this anyway. Each entry in the series will be limited to 150. Zoviet France join irr.App.[Ext.], Nick Mott, Bass Communion, Andrew Liles and Reverse Image and the albums will together form a set only available through the subscription. The name of the series is definitely not to be taken seriously either. I am keeping the quantity to a pragmatic level.
There are two options to take out the subscription, too. All of the albums feature exclusive material. The price might seem high but works out at 22.50 GBP per record + 10.00 GBP shipping, which is pretty reasonable I think.
The first entry in the series will be Andrew Liles' 'To Arrive at Nowhere' LP, expected towards the year's end.
Please note that by the time royalty copies, etc. have gone out there will be an average of 120 left to purchase through the subscription. Orders are starting to come in fast, so don't hang around if interested.
