Hey all, Eris here, does anyone know of a Brisbane supplier I can drive to tomorrow (Friday) and buy these type of plastic sleeves for art prints? Back boards would also be good, but for my immediate needs I can get by without them.

Ideally I want:

A5 - 111 or more
A4 - 111 or more
A3 - 37 or more

But can make do with less.

I have a market this Saturday. My ‘back up’ is to just get some plain zip-lock bags from Officeworks in a small quantity to cover me for the market, and then see about ordering from the Melbourne company shown here.

Went into today to pick up my order of Octocube by ! Karl has been a friend for at least a decade. We were both members (and eventually part of the team running) Incubator Melbourne which is a monthly play testing group. I got to see Octocube in its earliest iterations (you can even see my hands in a photo in the designer diary for game on Board Game Geek!) and I’ve been eagerly waiting for it to get published!

Karl is one of the pillars of the Aussie board game design scene, as well as designing brilliant games, he has been a long time committee member of the Tabletop Game Designers Australia where they work to lift everyone in the industry.

Karl has embodied that in so many ways, doing heaps to raise up other designers and help make things better for all of us.

As a bonus, I spotted my games Sugarrr! and Delta Rummy on the shelves at More Than Meeples! Yes! I can announce that they are available from MTM either in person or via their website, and they even ship internationally!

Had a great night at in Moorooka! Massive thank you to everyone who stopped by the table and had a chat or bought something, your support makes it all possible.

I forgot to take photos other than this snap with local artist and awesome person which is a shame as I had so many great chats and interactions with attendees, customers and fellow vendors.

I know I’m likely to forget someone (sorry!) but also a shoutout to - you are all phenomenal artists and I look forward to seeing you around at other events and following your adventures!

Massive thank you to the team who put the market on, with special mentions to Hannah (so sorry if I have your name wrong!) who helped me set up and is the only reason I was able to be ready by the time the doors opened. And to Jess who helped me pack up and chat to about ideas for future events. And finally to Dan for helping make sure my space was suitable and answering the many questions I had. (Also so sorry if I have your names wrong!).

I’m behind on announcing upcoming events but I can confirm I will be at Go Play Brisbane 2025 on the 30th and 31st of August!
