                                            👻 HaLL🌕weeN 🎃
It can be fun but for some, it can also be overwhelming.
As we celebrate, let’s remember that not everyone experiences Halloween in the same way. For many children and adults with autism or other sensory needs, flashing lights, loud noises, masks and unexpected knocks on the door can be very stressful but also very exciting.
Let’s all do our bit to make Halloween more inclusive and kind:
🧡 Be patient and understanding.
💬 Some children may not say “trick or treat.”
🚪 Leave a light on or use a friendly sign if your house is sensory-friendly.
🎶 if you notice the need keep music gentle if possible.
🎃 If someone chooses not to dress up or join in , that’s okay too!
Together, we can make Halloween a time where everyone feels safe and included.
