This little number is a funky savory citrusy gimlet. šŸ‹

Up front it is a CITRUS BOMB šŸ’„tart and complex with loads of citrus character. It ends with a slightly salty, savory, and herbal finish w/ some awesome dry fermenty tingles.
Pretty fun lil drink.

FERMENTED CITRUS GIMLET šŸ‹šŸ¦ 
•1 oz olive leaf gin ( )
•1/2 oz centerbe ( )
•1/2 oz fermented lemon / lime cordial
•3/4 oz super lime juice
•Barspoon sweet yuzu vinegar ( )

Happy Wacky Daiq Wednesday!
Made this funny lil Miami Vice thing, posting to stay relevant.

On bottom we have some leftover frozen strawberry daiq w/ a touch of pomegranate molasses, topped with a spiced pineapple coconut whip and some mint from the surprisingly resilient mint patch out back.

In continuation of the everything is a colada series, I batched some of these sweet treats for the local group ride and I must say… some of my best work yet.

Fall Spiced Banana Colada
šŸŒšŸ‚šŸŒšŸ‚šŸŒšŸ‚šŸŒšŸ‚šŸŒ
•460 g pineapple juice
•425g .lopez.usa (1 can)
•308 g coconut milk (.yd )
•504g banana frozen
•503 lime
•420g spiced syrup* (white sugar, palm sugar, light brown sugar, allspice, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaf)
•300g aged rum
•200g light rum
•1/2 tsp vanilla extract
•465g water
•+teaspoon ground Saigon cinnamon

*blend everything until super smooth and freeze overnight.
Blend again before serving.
Garnish with mint and grated nutmeg.*

Makes: 120 oz

*spice syrup:
Toast spices (sans bay leaf) in a dry pan. Add equal parts each of palm, light brown, and castor sugar (1:1) to an equal amount of water and simmer for 20 minutes with bay leaf.

Found this pic of this hilariously American drink I made upon arriving home to Texas from Thailand. Raided my mom’s boyfriend’s house and created this little gem.

It involved something like…

•2 oz bourbon ( )🪵
•1/2 oz
•1 oz pineapple juicešŸ
•3/4 oz lemon šŸ‹
•3/4 oz mesquite bbq rub-syrup šŸ—(semi-rich)
•fridge ice on the ā€œcrushedā€ setting 🧊
•garnished with pickled jalapeƱo & lemon expression šŸŒ¶ļø

Maybe he just didn’t want to hurt my feelings but my mom’s boyfriend said he liked it.

This very inspired recipe requires that you make coconut milk-clarified ā€œMalibuā€ rum and also source your toasted orgeat from the back of my fridge. But it’s worth it.

Toasty Coco Marg
1 oz homemade ā€œMalibuā€ coconut rum
1 oz reposado tequila
1/2 oz VeryGoodā„¢ļø toasted orgeat
1 oz lime super juice

I have dedicated my life’s work to being a passionately proud passion fruit promoter, and Fash Syrup is my #1 p-fruit crush. While everyone is sipping on a PSL you’ll find me sipping on fassionola syrup. Yup, just str8 syrup, baby. It’s that good. ((But also we’ll drop the Hurricane reel 2marO))

And in the spirit of transparency, one ant was harmed in the making of this video.

Fassionola Syrup Recipe:
2c strawbs (260g)5c passionfruit (130g)
1 Lime, juiced (30g)
(optional: add juiced lime husk)
1 T. Pom Molasses (20g)
1 Fuji Apple
1.5c sugar (305g)
