📊 Guest Speaker Session at SMIU 🎓

A highly engaging guest session was conducted with the final-year Media (Advertising) students of SMIU - Sindh Madressatul Islam University on the topic “𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.”

The session focused on how data insights shape effective social media strategies and digital marketing decisions. Students participated actively, showing great enthusiasm and curiosity about the digital media landscape.

Media Fellowship on Gender Equality and Child Rights 2025

NCSW in collaboration with NCRC and UNICEF are excited to announce the launch of the Media Fellowship on Gender Equality and Child Rights 2025 to journalists and media professionals across Pakistan.

The first in a series of Media Fellowship Trainings on Gender Equality and Child Rights will be held in Karachi on 27–28 October 2025.
The fellowship series aims to build the capacity of journalists and media professionals to promote gender equality, child protection and inclusive reporting practices. Through these region-specific trainings, the initiative seeks to strengthen media’s role in advancing rights-based narratives and responsible journalism.

To ensure broad participation, the trainings will be conducted region-wise, giving media professionals from all provinces and territories an equal opportunity to participate and contribute.

A seminar on “Social Media Misinformation and Our Responsibility” was organized by the BIS-Board of Islamic Studies at IRC Karachi.

Speakers highlighted the importance of correctly utilizing social media information and our collective responsibility in eliminating the effects of misinformation. A large number of men, women, and youngsters attended the seminar and actively engaged with the discussion. 🌐✨
