Our Artist of the week for ))) Classic Rock Class ((( Has unfortunately led me down a deep deep Rabbit hole... I hardly got a THING done tonight... INCLUDING finding the who what when where how and why of this quite GENIUS Player from the early 70's.
Heck, even the recordings are TERRIBLE straight off the album!

EVERY TIME I have attempted to study or gather information on this most INCREDIBLE woman... I have been met with a stone wall over the past TEN YEARS in particular of Classic Rock Class.
I get to a stage where I am almost SPOOKED OUT,,, and I DO NOT mean that in any other way than... the absolute life that this person LIVED by NOT giving Interviews and NOT talking about their past. Yet they PLAYED GUITAR in a way that would make any other female artist ... SHUDDER... INCLUDING Orianthi... or... ANY of the GREAT GREAT female SHREDDERS of the modern day guitar period.
WERE they in a band with another Name, another identity? ... as has been reported.
IF they were in such a band playing guitar... HOW in a few short years.... Does someone begin to play like (as has been described in their bio) Like Alan Holdsworth????
MORE of this wonderful "Shadowy" figure today on CLASSIC ROCK CLASS... and the truth about what we DO KNOW... well... we all THINK we know at least (because there are certain rock stars of TODAY who say the Rumors are NOT true... against the government certificates that say... it is...)
Even I/ we only have severely BAD 70's recording of her band which at times had artists of the HIGHEST ORDER playing alongside her!

Each day, I tend to find new evidence of the wonder and the beauty of God's (and our) world.
How we are all wired up so differently. Yes, I know I argue over politics with people I do and don't know... but essentially we are all wired up differently, and the GOOD and INTERESTING stuff... the stuff which brings life should be celebrated... The things which are bringing about the END of life (such as ANYTING Trump not only touches.. but even considers), should be swept aside by all which is life giving.
Like MUSIC (I'll bet Trump HATES Music... that would say it all!).
In 1979 I was 19 years of age. We were into hard Rock, and real heavy metal (The fake stuff was shortly to emerge).
Then ... along comes... in the midst of a bubblegum cloud of ABBA... THIS kind of magnificent newish genre with a tinge of ... dystopia!
We knew not how to accept it at that stage.... I mean, all that eyegazing slightly androgenous figures.... bit scary really if we admitted it...
But oh, how AMAZING to now look back on what was in fact BREAKTHROUGH music, genre, culture.
In 79, THIS went to number one on the charts... I suppose, for us it was a lot better than the Pointer Sisters!!!
It was ..... MAGNIFICENT!
