The podcast in its current interview version started on technically season 3 , on August 29th 2020 with my best friend Timmy Morris Reedy as my first guest and Daniel Caprio 's first appearance was on September 6th 2020.
I have interviewed 182 people, mostly comedians but also muscians, poets and cartoonists.
The podcast is all about the origin story of the comedian/ artist, it was influenced by Marc Maron's podcast WTF and You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes.
First it was to just showcase new jersey comics in the scene but I have been able to get comics on from Portland, Kansas , California and Arizona,
plus headliners such as Gianmarco Soresi, Dan Wilbur, Lou Moon, Patrick Bean, Ken Krantz , MONNA and KP Burke.
despite comics being guests the podcast isn't always funny but it is always fascinating because nobody becomes a performer/artist on purpose,
people have tougher journeys than others.
It has brought comics closer who find out they have stuff in common with a peer they didn't really know and does help people get booked on shows more.
