When someone lands on your LinkedIn profile, is there a reason why they should follow you?
Thatās the real question at the heart of your personal branding ā and one I challenged a room full of powerhouse women to think about during our LinkedIn personal branding workshop last week.
āļøLinkedIn has shiftedāditch the corporate robot voice and show your authentic personality
āļøThink value-first content: what can you share from your experience that Google or ChatGPT canāt?
āļø Post links in the comments after you post, not in the body of your post. This significantly increases post performance.
āļø Forget the hashtagsāthe keywords in your post are more important and can appear spammy.
āļø Use the LinkedIn scheduler to stay consistent (whatever consistency looks like to you)
āļøTighten up your profile pic, headline, and experienceāthis increases credibility, and people do, in fact, check.
Thanks, Alliance of Women in Workersāā Compensation, for having me, and for the fun headshot.
