* At 1201 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles northeast of Bussey to Lovilia to 7 miles
north of Melrose, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect

This week’s H&S Feed and Country Store Pet of the Week is "Anna Marie", a delightful 5 month old orange tabby kitten with a sweet disposition. Anna Marie unfortunately needed to have one eye removed, but that doesn't slow her down. She loves attention, loves to explore, and gets along great with other cats. She's not quite sure what to make of dogs, but she sure to warm up to them after she's around them awhile.

Mother Nature wins this week! Due to over 5 inches of rain, we are cancelling races for Wednesday, May 20th. The grounds are just too wet to get the track race ready. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support! We’ll see you all back at the track on May 27th for First Responders Night! 🇺🇸🏁

This week’s H&S Feed and Country Store Pet of the Week is "Gojira", a beautiful 3 year old black and white tuxedo kitty. Gojira is a good-sized fella, weighing in around 16 pounds. Gojira is a friendly guy who loves attention, loves kids, enjoys cuddling up on your lap and does ok with other cats and smaller dogs. (Larger dogs freak him out a little.) Gojira is fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and is ready for his 'furr-ever' home!
