All Cal Poly Humboldt students are invited to join Osprey Magazine Production this fall. The class meets Tuesday/Thursday from 1:00 - 2:50pm in Gist Hall 215. Sign up through your MyHumboldt registration portal or email jmc70 for a permission number. No experience necessary. Prerequisite will be waived for all majors.

Headline: The Impact of The Axe: The Effects of Cutting Humboldt Football

While Redwood Bowl hasn’t changed much physically over recent years, its energy, culture and usage has shifted dramatically over the past decade. Once the hub and home of Humboldt’s football team, its usage is now split between various club sports, people leisurely walking laps and track practices all throughout the day. However, Redwood Bowl is far from the only place on campus that has seen significant changes since the loss of football. How has Humboldt’s athletics and the surrounding community adapted to these changing times and how will they continue to grow?

FINAL STRETCH!!! As the end of the year gets closer by the day, Osprey ends the process of story writing and begins the process of laying out the magazine. Expect to see some sneak previews of feature stories that’ll be included in this semester’s issue of Osprey Magazine!
