There is no map for the life I’ve lived,
just footprints scattered across shifting ground—
some deep, where the weight was heavy,
others light, like laughter on a summer street.

I have sat in silence with my regrets,
watched them change shape in the dark,
until they softened into lessons,
whispered truths I carry now
in the quiet moments between heartbeats.

Love has not always been kind,
but it has been real.
It has broken me open
and taught me how to grow.

I’ve learned that time is a patient sculptor,
chiseling character from chaos,
and that not all endings are losses—
some are openings,
doors I didn’t know I had the strength to walk through.

And so I keep walking,
sometimes limping,
sometimes dancing,
but always forward,
with eyes wide enough
to see beauty in the cracks.
