One of our subscribers has asked if we would post details of a Cub he has recently restored that is now for sale, the location of the bike is just off the M1 in Derbyshire between J28/29

Things I have done to the cub, engine completely stripped and rebuilt with new piston and rings and small end. Crank split and checked, sludge trap cleaned, new seals where needed including rocker shaft o rings, oil pump refurbed plus new oil feed pipe, carburettor rebuilt with new seals and float needle
Frame completely stripped and powder coated in black, all tin ware professionally painted including original steel bikini fairings
Completely rewired with new loom (6 volt electrics retained) bulbs, brake light switch, horn, ignition and light switches all new. New cables throttle brake and clutch, new battery
Wheels completely rebuilt with new British chrome rims and new tyres. Hubs have been powder coated black.
Seat has been recovered with brand new cover, bars have got brand new grips, all bolts and fasteners been replaced where needed.
It has matching engine and frame numbers. It starts and runs great

All U.K July mags posted today 12/11/14. Overseas Mags will be posted by this coming weekend. If no more gremlins we should be getting October's Mag to the printers and posted out before the end of November. We again apologies for the delay, but hopefully 2015 will be glitch free. We still rely on you the reader for imput so anything Cub or Terrier related, from back in the day or recent bikes, Trials, Scramblers, Racers, Sprinters, Customized. send them in to G.B.C . The July Cub Mag will be a little late due to getting a new computer which was supposed to make it quicker and easier to work on the mag. I am sorry, and I will crack on with it as best I can on the old machine before taking a plug spanner to the new computer.
