Rich Price - The Singing Sierran.

Rich was a proud ambassador for cowboy and western music, upholding the values of the west through his music and way of life. His passion and deep knowledge of the genre began at an early age listening to Eddy Arnold and Gene Autry on the radio to admiring Hank Snow for incorporating horsemanship into his live tours along with his unique vocal stylings. Rich later became friends with The Singing Ranger Hank Snow and modeled his career after him, becoming known as The Singing Sierran (a nod to his home at the foothills of the mountain range across Yosemite National Park).
Rich Price led trail rides through that land he loved so much and sang by campfire at night, yodeling and storytelling. From performing in China to opening a show for George Strait, Price always appeared in style with his Manuel created suits with symbols of the west and America, just as Roy Rogers had fashioned before him.
Rich Price was in millions of households each week as the co-host of the music tv show, Cheyenne Country. His recordings with Nashville’s A-Team session musicians and Riders in the Sky’s Joey Miskulin, earned him an Academy of Western Artists nomination and consideration at the IWMA awards in 2018 for Cowboy's Cowboy for WMA Song of the Year and WMA Album of the Year, as well as WMA Male Artist and Songwriter of the Year.
