Anything can be made easier when you know your WHY!
When the season ends and suddenly you don’t have to train, you aren’t forced to lift and you don’t have anyone to hold you accountable but yourself … it can feel equally freeing and overwhelming all at the same time.
How am I navigating this new normal?
I’m continuing to be active.
Not because I’m worried about passing fitness tests or running at specific paces … but because it helps me to feel my best.
When I move, my school work is more productive, my energy levels are better and my overall mood is more positive.
And for now, that WHY is what keeps me sane.
So as you go into this week, no matter your sport or what part of the season you’re in, I challenge you to think about your why.
WHY do you love movement?
WHY is sport an awesome outlet to keep you accountable?
WHY is it also exciting to find new avenues to explore daily movement?
