Preseason for any sport is not meant to be easy 💪🏼
Every year, we train for the moment that we get to step back on the pitch, the court or the ice and in that moment it is easy to question whether or not all the hard work was enough.
In this questioning we can learn a lot about ourselves.
A wise goalkeeper once told me that ‘only the strong survive’ … and man was she right. This journey as a student-athlete can be one of the most rewarding, IF you are willing to sacrifice, work and remain dedicated.
Whether you are week 1 into preseason, 1 week away from preseason or are counting down a few more weeks, let this serve as your encouragement to keep working.
The grind will pay off - maybe not at first but eventually … it just has to 🤍

While I’m not one to stay up until midnight for the release of her new albums, I do really appreciate Taylor for her authenticity in all that she does 🎀
Through her songs, she shares her story.
Through her stories, she becomes relatable.
In this way, her fans WANT to share her message BECAUSE they feel what she feels.
The fans become her biggest and BEST source of marketing 👯♀️
While not all of us can become Taylor Swift, we CAN take a page out of her book - remain true to yourself and the right people will come along.
