We’re finally catching up on one of our most magical stays in Hawaii, Disney’s Aulani Resort on the beautiful shores of Oahu. With our nonstop travel schedule, this post has been waiting in the wings, but Aulani absolutely deserves a dedicated moment.

We’re finally getting around to posting about our visit to the Laniwai Spa inside Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. With our packed travel schedule, this share got delayed, but we wanted to give an honest look at our experience.

We booked the Lomilomi Couples Love Massage, which was relaxing and well-executed. The massage itself lived up to expectations with a calming environment, professional service, and the soothing rhythm of traditional Hawaiian technique.

However, we were surprised to find that several parts of the spa felt a bit worn down. A few amenities were out of order, and the overall condition of the space didn’t quite reflect the premium price point or the high standards usually associated with the Disney brand or the Aulani experience.

We’re finally getting around to sharing one of the most unforgettable dining experiences from our Hawaii travels, Mina’s Fish House at the Four Seasons Oahu. With our schedule packed nonstop, this one got delayed, but it absolutely deserves the spotlight.

This was, without question, one of the best meals we had in Hawaii. Every detail, from the oceanfront setting to the impeccable service, made it feel like a true fine dining experience in paradise.

And yes, we ordered the legendary $128 Lobster Pot Pie. It was rich, buttery, and beautifully presented with a golden pastry crust and generous portions of fresh lobster. Worth every bite and every dollar.

We loved everything about this meal. The cocktails were balanced and creative, the seafood was fresh and expertly prepared, and the entire evening felt like a celebration of Hawaiian coastal cuisine.

We’re finally catching up and sharing one of our favorite spooky traditions with a tropical twist. For the last four years, we’ve made it a point to visit a different Spirit Halloween store in a new state every Halloween season. This year, we checked off a rare one — Spirit Halloween in Hawaii.

Yes, you read that right. A full-blown Spirit store right in the heart of the islands. For Halloween lovers like us, seeing those familiar displays set against palm trees and sunshine was surreal. The store layout was awesome and full of Halloween spirit, and while we loved the vibe and energy, we did notice a few of the animatronics were missing or hadn’t been set up yet.

Still, visiting Spirit in Hawaii felt like a bucket list moment for fans of spooky season and seasonal pop-ups. It was the perfect balance of our love for travel and all things Halloween.

We’re finally catching up on some unforgettable Hawaii moments, and Turtle Beach on Oahu absolutely deserves the spotlight. Our crazy travel schedule kept this one in the archives, but it’s too special not to share.

Known for its crystal-clear waters, laid-back energy, and the chance to see sea turtles up close, this beach is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Oahu. While we didn’t spot any turtles during our visit, we did catch some of the island’s top surfers doing what they do best. The waves were pumping, the views were next level, and the vibe was pure aloha.

One of the best parts? The amazing locals we met along the shoreline who made the entire experience even more meaningful. This isn’t just a beach — it’s a slice of Hawaii’s spirit.

We’re finally sharing our experience at one of Hawaii’s most iconic spots, the Dole Plantation. With our nonstop travel schedule, this moment took a backseat in the editing queue, but it’s one we didn’t want to miss highlighting.

The visit started early in the morning, and one of the first things we noticed were the farm cats roaming the property. They gave the whole place a peaceful, local charm that made the visit feel even more special.

And yes, we finally had our first ever Dole Whip right on site. Creamy, cold, and absolutely worth the hype. There’s just something different about enjoying it fresh from the source.

From the pineapple gardens to the train ride and gift shop full of Hawaiian-grown treasures, the Dole Plantation is a unique part of Oahu that blends tourism, agriculture, and culture into one sweet stop.

We’re finally getting around to sharing one of our most laid-back and tropical nights in Waikiki at Cuckoo Coconuts. With our travel schedule in full swing, it’s taken a minute to look back at this spot.

If you're searching for a fun, casual place with island vibes, Cuckoo Coconuts hits the mark. We loved the live music, beachy atmosphere, and their tropical drinks did not disappoint. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful and made for the perfect way to kick off the night.

That said, while the main entrees were okay, they didn’t quite live up to the price point. If you stop in, we recommend sticking to drinks and small plates for the best experience.

We're finally getting the chance to share one of our favorite stops from our Hawaii travels. The Bishop Museum in Honolulu absolutely blew us away. With a crazy travel schedule keeping us on the move, we’re just now catching up on this unforgettable experience.

This museum is more than just a historical site. It's a gateway into the heart of Polynesian culture, showcasing centuries of heritage, deep rooted traditions, and the extraordinary stories of the people of the Pacific. We found it to be one of the most meaningful and enriching places we visited in Hawaii and easily one of the best things to do on the islands.

If you're a fan of luxury travel with a purpose or love diving deeper into the destinations you visit, this spot should be at the top of your Hawaii itinerary.

One of the most unexpected things about visiting Hawaii? The wild chickens just roaming the streets like they own the island.

Yes, really. No farm. No fence. Just living their best life under the sun. We were walking to grab lunch when we saw these feathered locals strutting through parking lots and sidewalks like it was just another beach day. It’s wild, it’s funny, and it’s honestly one of those quirky things that makes Hawaii so unique.
