Well, we've got an exciting thing going on here as I work to finish up my solo recording project "Your Love". I anticipate releasing within a month or two. There have been a few obstacles, but fortunately I only started out with a rough understanding of the timeline.


Stay tuned and I'll post here as we get closer to the final mixes and setting a release date!

Corporate gatherings in the body of Christ are crucial to our spiritual health and maturity.

In a corporate gathering, we come expecting, seeking His presence to manifest in the midst of our praises and adoration for Him. In the midst of teachings and worship. Each of us come as individuals, and each are seeking Him.

And although He comes and manifests, and we can experience this as a group, there is a deeply personal encounter that takes place. Each of us has an individual experience within the overall corporate experience. Some get healed, some get ministered to, some get delivered, some experience shaking, crying, or uncontrolled laughter.

It’s like there is an overarching purpose that His presence attends to, while at the same time attending to personal needs. We cannot help but be changed in His presence.

Corporate gatherings are integral to our personal journey with Christ. There is such a hunger when gathered that draws His attention. While personal times with the Lord are valuable and necessary, there is something about a corporate gathering that brings unity, hunger, and growth.

Studying Matthew chapter 8 this morning. Many wanted to follow Jesus, and approached him directly. In each instance there was a necessary sacrifice in order for them to do so. One was told to sell everything, and another was told to leave his family. These are not insignificant sacrifices.

When we chose to follow Jesus, we also are required to sacrifice things. We have to give things up, and we have to leave things behind. We can't have the world and Jesus at the same time. They are two different kingdoms often in conflict.

Often, the list of things we've left behind and departed from is long. However, it's always good to ask Jesus what else we need to give up (sacrifice) in order to follow Him.
