The Africans Awards, is owned and operated by Mama Africa Productions LLC and its Partners, is an annual American and African awards ceremony honoring African's achievements in the music, film and entertainment industry.
Winners are awarded annually with the African Warrior Statue, The Africans Awards is a trophy given to the best individual in music, film and Entertainment in various categories, plus we will be given special recognition awards to various individuals based on their achievemetns in their field..
The first awards ceremony will take place in United States Of America in the city of Atlanta and the State Georgia in 2015, and will be heard and seen live via varous outlets.
The Africans is a prestigious award given to well established and recognized Africans in their field. its equivalents, the Oscars for Films, the Emmy Awards for television, the Tony Awards for theatre, and the Grammy Awards for music and recording but specifically for Africans.
The Voters: is made up of a committee from the music, film, entertainment, business and various areas that comes together to vote and select the best individuals for the awards in music, film and entertainment industry.
The Africans Statuette, is an African Warrior that has a shield and a spear, and gold plated with a black base, The African Warrior symbolizes strenght, leadership, perserverance, love and the want and need to take care of and protect their family, community and nation.
Deadline Rule: the official Africans Awards Rules, to be selected in a catergory the music, film or individual must be in the previous calendar year, from midnight at the start of 1 January to midnight at the end of 31 December
